Chemistry, being a big part of scientific thinking helps us to understand what's happening around us. In the chemistry exam, sections A, B, C, and D were easy, and section E was difficult, meaning 5-mark questions were difficult in today's exam. The chemistry question paper has numerical questions from the physical portion, such as the states of matter and thermodynamics.

The paper was overall moderate and could be completed within the given time. Section A had direct and simple questions. Section B involved equations and was slightly more time-consuming than Section A but still manageable. Section C also had direct questions, though one required a lengthy explanation; internal choices helped make it easier. All questions were from the syllabus, though a couple were worded in a slightly tricky way.
We provide some important topics and chapters for students who are preparing for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Physics Paper 1.
Chemical Kinetics: Rate of Reaction, factors affecting kinetics
Atomic Structure: electronic configuration, Subatomic particles
Thermodynamics: Enthalpy, entropy, Gibbs energy change
Organic Chemistry: Hydrocarbons, functional groups
Acids & Bases: pH calculations, buffer solutions
Electrochemistry: Redox reactions, electrochemical cells
Relevant Topic:
Students may get internal choices between questions, especially in long answer sections.
Numerical questions usually originate from the mole concept, gas laws, stoichiometry, and thermodynamics. Students should practice formula-based calculations and conversions.
1. Understand and revise the key concepts from the textbook.
2. Solve previous year's question papers and sample papers.
3. Do the numerical and chemical equations in practice.
4. Agree with being punctual while trying out the mini-tests.
The paper is of a certain pattern and they are with multiple-choice questions (MCQs), short answer questions, and long answer questions. The paper usually relates more to discussions in the syllabus than to questioning numerical problems.
Hello,
To determine your eligibility under Stream 1, you would need to know your actual JEE Main score (not percentile), as the combined score calculation requires it. Without this, it's challenging to compute your exact SASTRA Rank for Stream 1.
For Stream 2, with a 98.1% in your Class 12 exams, your normalized score would depend on the highest score in your board. If we assume the highest is 1000, your normalized score remains 98.1%. Admission under Stream 2 is based on the merit list derived from these normalized scores.
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. JEE mains score cannot be used to seek admission at Anna University Chennai. Admissions to Bachelor of Engineering course is carried out through a counseling procedure that the college conducts. The basic eligibility for the course is that students are required to graduate 10+2 from a recognized board / university with a minimum of 55% marks and not less than 50% marks in each physics, chemistry and mathematics. Students are also required to score a considerable score in TNEA. the fees lies between Rs. 15,000 to Rs.33,000 depending on the courses.
Thank you.

Dear aspirant,
It is hard to predict if you'll get CSE or not as it heavily depends on the students applying and what their preferences are. Looking at the previous year trends we can say that you'll need 975+ to get CSE but you have a really good percentile in JEE which accounts for 25 percent, so all I can say is that you have a really good chance of getting into SASTRA but CSE might be slightly difficult. If you are truly passionate about CSE, it is better to keep other options open.
