Want To Become A Good Team Player? Here Are A Few Tips
Students should start with easy and moderate questions first and then move on to the harder questions. This simple approach will help to solve a number of questions correctly. Students need to prepare for interviews as well. Students are interviewed by a panel of experts which consists of highly qualified researchers and scientists. The interview timing can vary from 45 minutes to an hour. The panel will ask questions about general application of science, practical demonstrations of theories of mirror, magnet, etc. Students just need to convince the interviewers that they want to pursue a career in the research field dedicatedly.
Final KVPY Merit Lists
The final merit list will be released by IISC Banglore in the form of PDFs. The final list will be published for each stream along with the cutoff marks. The merit list will be completely based on the KVPY aptitude test score. The list will be available on the official website: www.kvpy.iisc.ernet.in.
There will be three merit lists released based on categories: General, SC/ST, and PWD and each of these three categories will have three sub-categories of stream: SA, SB, and SX.

After qualifying in KVPY can I do B. tech from IIT?
Hi,
No. JEE can open doors for admission into IITs, NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded institutes . KVPY is a gateway for admission into top research institutes. Aspirants who wish to pursue pure sciences can get into prestigious research colleges like IISc and IISER.
You need to realise that you are getting a brilliant opportunity to contribute towards general science in our country. If you are serious about IIT then no problem prepare for JEE Mains and Advanced. But if you are not interested in general science then you should not have appeared for KVPY in the first place. It is because of such kind of people (not necessarily you) that general science enthusiasts don't get a chance to contribute towards the country.
It is high time JEE aspirants realised that KVPY and such exams are not part of the JEE race as a whole. We need to understand and be aware that KVPY rank becomes useless once you enter IIT. However it would have been useful if you didn't appear and gave the rank to a real science enthusiast.
KVPY serves as a confidence booster and opens new opportunities to join research programs. Applicants have a greater chance of getting into IISc and IISERs through KVPY than JEE. After clearing the KVPY examination, students can get direct admission into top institutes like IISc and the various IISER's. If students want to be a part of IISc, they must appear for KVPY as the cutoff for admissions into IISc JEE Mains/JEE Advanced/ NEET is really high.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
