KVPY Syllabus 2018 – SA Stream
Candidates studying in class 11 can apply for KVPY 2018 SA stream. One is required to completely go through the Mathematics and Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) syllabus done till class 11. Apart from NCERT, candidates can also refer the books by other publishers (topics done till class 11) for that extra edge. Candidates with strong basics till class 10 have a better chance in clearing KVPY SA stream. Some of the topics covered in different subjects in KVPY 2018 syllabus are:

KVPY Syllabus 2018 – SB/SX Stream
Those pursuing their first year of under-graduation in basic sciences are eligible to apply for KVPY SB stream. The syllabus for KVPY 2018 for SX and SB stream is the same. Candidates will be required to cover all topics in Maths and Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) till their UG level. They must also cover all topics from NCERT books and refer books by other renowned publishers for the topics covered. The KVPY paper for both SB and SX will be same. Few topics covered are:

KVPY Exam Pattern for SB/SX Stream
KVPY SX/SB exam has two parts. Part I will contain 80 questions (20 each of PCMB). A student is required to attempt questions of only 3 subjects i.e. 60 questions. In Part II, There will be 40 questions (10 each of PCMB) and a student will be required to attempt only 2 subjects questions i.e. 20 questions.
KVPY Exam Pattern for SA Stream
KVPY 2018 will have two parts. 60 questions (15 each of PCMB) of 1 mark each will be asked in part I while part-II will carry 20 questions (5 each of PCMB) of 2 marks each. Candidates will be required to attempt all subjects in part-I and II.
