KVPY Syllabus 2020 - Students who are planning to appear for the KVPY exams must refer to the syllabus of KVPY. The syllabus includes topics from the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology. There will be 80 questions divided in part 1 & 2 in this section.
Part 1 will include 60 questions of 1 mark each. Every incorrect answer will have a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
Part 2 will include 20 questions of 2 marks each. A negative marking of 0.5 marks will be done for each incorrect answer.

The KVPY syllabus 2020 for SX comprises subjects and topics from Class 10th, 11th and 12th. Students must complete the syllabus for SB/SX streams as soon as possible so that they gain maximum marks in KVPY result.
It also needs to be remembered that the SB stream will not just include Class 11th and KVPY syllabus 2020 for Class 12 but it will also include some topics from the 1st year undergrad.
In SB and SX exams, there will be a total of 120 questions, out of which only 80 questions need to be answered which will carry 100 marks.
1 marks questions will have a negative marking of 0.25 while the questions of 2 marks will have a negative marking of 0.5.

KVPY exam pattern will acquaint the students with the question-wise breakup of the KVPY exam. Students must go through the exam pattern and prepare for the exam accordingly.
All the streams of KVPY - SA, SX and SB consists of two parts and four subjects but the marking scheme for SA is different from SB and SX.
The total number of questions in SA will be 80 and the total marks will be 100.
KVPY test duration will be of 3 hours.

KVPY is one of the most prestigious scholarship exams in India. Therefore, students who are planning to appear for the KVPY exam must go through some of the simple but effective KVPY preparation tips and implement the same in their study schedule.
Complete the KVPY Syllabus thoroughly: Knowing the syllabus and preparing for the exam as per the weight-age of the important topics will help in studying in a planned manner and let them score well.

Take the KVPY Mock Test: The mock test will familiarize students with the to get an insight of the KVPY exam along with the paper pattern and difficulty level. It will also acquaint them with the computer-based test. The KVPY mock test will be available in both English and Hindi medium for SA, SB and SX streams.
A total number of 80 and 120 questions for SA and SB/SX stream will be asked in KVPY question paper respectively. Out of which only 80 questions are supposed to be attempted.
Yes, 0.25 marks for part-I and -0.5 for part-II are deducted for the wrong answers.
There are no specific marks prescribed by KVPY as passing marks. However, students need to score the cut off marks, at least, in order to be selected in the KVPY exam.

see you can appear in kvpy exam in 12th class, when you are in final year of 10+2 course. there is no need to mention your 11 th percentage, but question will come from 11th and 12th syllabus both. so you need to study strictly for both of the exam.
follow the previous years question, and if you are preparing for jee main exam or neet exam, it is an added advantage for you.

The kvpy exam is held for different class group of students. 11 appearing students come under the stream SA. The eligibility for Student coming under S.A stream to apply for KVPY exam is as
eligibility criteria - Students enrolled in XI Standard (Science Subjects) during the academic year 2019-20 and having secured a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects in the X Standard Board examination immediately in the preceding academic year are eligible to appear for Aptitude test.
So according to above mentioned criteria you can give KVPY exam.
