KVPY Syllabus 2021-22 - Students who will appear for the upcoming KVPY exams must refer to the KVPY 2021 syllabus which includes topics from Class 11 and 12 subjects that are Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology. IISc does not provide the KVPY syllabus 2021-22 officially. However, the KVPY exam syllabus is deduced from the previous year's KVPY question papers.

KVPY Syllabus 2021-22 for SA Stream
The KVPY SA syllabus 2021 includes important topics from the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics of 11th standard. It is advisable to complete the KVPY syllabus 2021-22 at the earliest to score well. NCERT books are the best to get a variety of questions to solve and for the complete KVPY exam syllabus.

There will be 80 questions divided in part 1 & 2 in this section.
60 questions of 1 mark each will be included in Part 1. Negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer is applicable.
20 questions of 2 marks each will be included in Part 2. Negative marking of 0.5 marks will be taken into consideration for each incorrect answer.

KVPY Syllabus 2021-22 (SB/SX Streams)
KVPY SX syllabus 2021 comprises subjects and topics from Class 10th, 11th and 12th. Students must complete the KVPY exam syllabus for SB/SX streams as soon as possible so that they gain maximum marks in the KVPY result.
It also needs to be remembered that the SB stream will not just include Class 11th and KVPY syllabus 2021 for Class 12 but it will also include some topics from the 1st year undergrad.
In SB and SX exams, 120 questions will be asked, out of which only 80 questions of 100 marks are supposed to be answered.
1 mark question will have a negative marking of 0.25. On the other hand, 2 marks questions will have a negative marking of 0.5.

How to prepare for KVPY 2021-22?
KVPY is one of the most prestigious scholarship exams in India. Therefore, students who are appearing for the KVPY exam must go through some of the best KVPY preparation tips belwo.

when is the next date for KVPY exam??

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a national level scholarship programme run by the Government of India's Department of Science and Technology (DST).
The KVPY 2022 Exam will be held in the last week of January 2023.
The admit card will be accessible beginning in the first week of January 2023. You may get them from the official kvpy website.

- Commencement of Registration Process will satrt from - 1st week of September 2022
- Last date for submission of application will be - Last week of October 2022
- Last date of application fee payment - 1st week of November 2022

Yes kvpy exam is cancelled and it will be no longer conducted 2022 onwards.
Department of science and technology (DST) has decided to cancel the kvpy exam and to discontinue it.
instead kvpy fellowship programme would now be combined with the INSPIRE fellowship.
DST has decided to subsume kvpy with INSPIRE.

how to get seat in iisc after through competitive exams like KVPY, as now it is cancelled?

I believe there are two methods to be admitted to IISc (indian institute of science).
-You must take the kvpy test, which is offered by IISc Bangalore every year. After passing the written and interview requirements, you must submit an application for admission.
-You must pass the JEE-ADVANCED test before applying for admission. If your application is selected for further consideration, you will then be required to attend an interview and if you are chosen, you get admitted to IISc after completing grade 12.

Students enrolled in fundamental scientific courses in grades 11, 12, and the first year of undergrad school are qualified for the SA, SX, and SB streams, respectively, according to KVPY eligibility requirements. KVPY applications are only accepted from Indian citizens.
There is no minimum age requirement for the KVPY exam to apply for SA, SB, or SX, according to IISc, Bangalore. But the students who are studying in Class 11, Class 12, or First Year of Undergraduate Study are eligible for KVPY exam.

I am in msc 1st year not int.msc .Am i eligible for KVPY 2022?
According to the website and the notification released for KVPY, M.Sc./Int. M.S.) in the academic year 2023-24 after having secured a minimum of 60% (50% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects in the XII standard Board Examination. During the interim period of one year they will be invited for the National Science (Vijyoshi) Camp and their travel expenses and local hospitality will be met by KVPY.
So, essentially yes, you will be allowed to appear for KVPY.
