IISc Bangalore, the conducting body of KVPY has not set any specific syllabus for the exam. However, students should prepare from the KVPY books, that are applicable to their streams. According to the official body, "students are tested for the syllabus up to class 10/11/12/ 1st year of B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. as applicable.
