KVPY Exam Pattern 2019

Before we delve into the KVPY preparation 2018 to be studied, let us first understand the exam pattern of the scholarship test. As mentioned above, KVPY is divided into three streams- SA, SX and SB. Of these, SA is taken by students of 11, SX by students in class and SB by students in their first year of undergraduate studies. Students have to necessarily be studying sciences and have a plan to pursue future degrees in Basic Sciences itself. Stream SA is held for 100 marks, while SX and SB for 160 marks. All the streams are divided into parts. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks in part one questions and 0.5 in part 2 questions. Here is the KVPY exam pattern for all the streams of the exam.
