The KVPY 2015 Selection Procedure is a two stage process, which includes an Aptitude Test and Interview. The students as per the eligibility criteria are shortlisted and called for the Aptitude Test.

The Aptitude Test for KVPY will be conducted on November 1 in paper-pencil based mode. Last year the exam was conducted on October 27, 2014 across its centers in India. The Aptitude Test is conducted in two languages: English and Hindi, students can select any one mode of language for the examination.
This test is same for each category of the eligibility criteria- Stream SA, SB and SX. It consists of 100 questions to be answered and is based on paper-pencil format. The KVPY 2015 Selection Procedure steps are given in the table below,
Once a student score marks as per the cutoff released by KVPY, they qualify for the Interview level, after which a list of final selected students is declared. The selected students are now eligible for KVPY 2015 fellowship/scholarship. The grants or cash for the awardees as per the KVPY are mentioned in the box below,

see you can appear in kvpy exam in 12th class, when you are in final year of 10+2 course. there is no need to mention your 11 th percentage, but question will come from 11th and 12th syllabus both. so you need to study strictly for both of the exam.

The kvpy exam is held for different class group of students. 11 appearing students come under the stream SA. The eligibility for Student coming under S.A stream to apply for KVPY exam is as
eligibility criteria - Students enrolled in XI Standard (Science Subjects) during the academic year 2019-20 and having secured a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in aggregate in MATHEMATICS and SCIENCE subjects in the X Standard Board examination immediately in the preceding academic year are eligible to appear for Aptitude test.
So according to above mentioned criteria you can give KVPY exam.
