The Directorate of Government Examinations, Telangana, determines the passing criteria for students appearing for the TS SSC exam. As per the Telangana Board, students must score a minimum of 35% marks out of 100 in aggregate and each subject separately to pass the exam. However, to pass the Second Language examination, they must score 20%, i.e., 16 marks out of 80 in theory. The TS SSC question papers carry 100 marks in total.
The Telangana SSC examination was held from March 14 to April 16, 2026. The exam is divided into two papers, a theory paper and a practical/internal assessment. The theory paper will carry 80 marks, while the internal assessment will carry 20 marks. Read the entire article to learn more about the TS SSC passing marks.
To pass the TS SSC exam, students have to score at least 28 marks out of 80 marks in the theory paper. The examination is conducted for a total of 100 marks, except for Science.
