The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab, has released the admission schedule for the 2025-26 academic session for Schools of Eminence (SOE) and Meritorious Schools. The Joint Entrance Examination, required for admission to these schools, will be conducted on March 16, 2025 (Sunday) for Class 9 and April 6, 2025 (Sunday) for Class 11, as per the dates specified by SCERT Punjab.

Punjab SOE and Meritorious School - Eligibility Criteria

Students seeking admission to Punjab Schools of Eminence and Meritorious Schools must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Students currently studying in Class 8 are eligible to apply for admission to Class 9.

  • Students currently studying in Class 10 are eligible to apply for admission to Class 11.

  • Candidates must have successfully passed their previous class examination at the time of admission.

  • Final admission will be granted only to students who qualify the aptitude test conducted by SCERT Punjab.

  • Aptitude Test: Students must clear the Common Aptitude Test conducted for Class 9 and Class 11.
