NMMS Exam 2019 - The admit cards of NMMS 2019 exam have been issued for exam, to be held on November 17, 2019. Most of the states have conducted the NMMS Exam 2019 on November 2 & 3, 2019 in offline mode. Students who appeared for NMMS 2019 exam on November 2 and 3, 2019 can download the answer key online. NMMS exam 2019 will be conducted on December 1, 8 and 22, 2019 for Delhi, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, respectively. NMMS Haryana exams will also be held on December 1, 2019. The total marks of the NMMS exam are 180 marks. Besides, there will be two papers Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT). NMMS Admit Card 2019

  • Students will be able to collect the admit card of NMMS exam 2019 from their school/ institution in which they are studying.
  • The NMMS 2019 hall ticket has been released in the second/ third week of October 2019. Some states may also release the hall ticket online on the official website of SCERT.
  • The hall ticket of NMMS 2019 comprises details such as the candidate’s name, roll number etc. along with the date, time and venue of the exam.
  • One must carry the admit card along with them on the day of the NMMS exam 2019.
  • Students have to submit their NMMS 2019 admit card to the invigilator after the exam is over. Hence, they are suggested to keep a xerox copy of the same with them and retain it until the entire selection process gets over.

NMMS 2019 Exam Pattern

Students preparing for the NMMS exam 2019 must go through the exam pattern to know about the marking scheme, the number of questions and so on. The test comprises two sections, Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Details regarding the exam pattern of NMMS exam 2019 are given below:

  • Test Duration - The duration for MAT is 120 minutes and for SAT is also 120 minutes.
  • Marking Scheme - Each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking
  • Exam Mode - NMMS Exam 2019 will be held in offline or pen and paper-based mode.
  • Exam Type - All questions are objective type. Out of 4 possible answers, students have to select only one correct.
  • For relevant NMMS exam books, students can refer to NCERT Class 8th Books only.
  • NMMS MAT section test a candidate’s reasoning and critical thinking skills. The questions will be based on analogy, pattern perception, classification, hidden figures etc.
  • Students have to attain at least 40% marks (32% for SC/ST) both MAT & SAT papers.

Previous Year's NMMS Question Papers

Students should practice the previous year's NMMS question papers to get a better idea about the exam pattern and syllabus. This acquaints students with the type of questions asked in the exam. NMMS exam 2019 papers are made available along with their answer keys. The question paper familiarizes students with important topics and difficulty level of the exam among others. Students can also analyse their preparation level, identify their weak areas by solving last year's NMMS exam papers.

NMMS Answer Key 2019

The examination conducting bodies of each state will release the official answer key of NMMS 2019 after 2- 3 weeks exam conduction. With the help of the NMMS 2019 answer key, students are able to calculate their probable scores in the exam and analyse their performance in NMMS exam 2019. Students have to follow the marking scheme as mentioned in the examination pattern to calculate the NMMS 2019 scores.

NMMS Result 2019

The NMMS result will be declared online on different dates. SCERT of particular states and UT will also release NMMS results on its scheduled date that will be announced with the NMMS Exam 2019 notification. The result is made available online and to check it, candidates have to enter their roll number and school code in the login window. Some of the participating states release NMMS 2019 result in the form of merit lists. The result includes information like candidate’s name, roll number, section-wise score etc. One can follow the steps below to view and download result:

  • Click on the official website of SCERT's website

  • Enter the roll number in the login window.

  • Enter the school code (if applicable).

  • The result will be displayed on the screen.

  • Download NMMS 2019 result and take a printout of it. Retain it for future reference.

NMMS Scholarship 2019

NMMS Scholarship holders must be promoted in single attempts through the years to Class 12 with 55% of marks (50% for reserved category) and 60% in class 10 (55% for reserved) for the continuation of the scholarship. The selected candidates will have to open a joint account with parents in the State Bank of India and the amount will be deposited by the bank in their account on a quarterly basis. NMMS exam 2019 scholarship will provide scholarships to candidates under the following four categories:

  1. Pre - Matric Scholarship Scheme - For students studying from Class 1st to Class 10th.

  2. Post - Matric Scholarship Scheme - For students studying in Class 11, 12 and above including courses like B. Tech, Medical, ITI, B.SC, B. Com. etc.

  3. Top Class Scholarship Scheme - For students studying in top-level colleges across India such as IITs and IIMs.

  4. Merit cum Means (MCM) Scholarship Scheme - This scheme is for students pursuing technical and professional courses at graduation and post-graduation level.

NMMS Application Form 2019

All States and UTs have released the NMMS 2019 form pdf on their official website. To access the online application, students can visit the National Scholarship portal. The last date to submit online NMMS 2019 forms through NSP was October 15, 2019. Students who are studying in Class 8th from any recognized school were eligible to apply for NMMS exam 2019. The student's parental income needed to be less than Rs. 1,50,000 in order to apply for this scholarship exam. The objective of NMMS exam 2019 is to award scholarships to 100,000 students who belong to economically weaker sections and encourage them to continue their education at the secondary stage. Selected students will be awarded the NMMS 2019 scholarship of Rs. 1000 per month from class IX till class XII. The online NMMS 2019 applications can also be submitted through the National Scholarship Portal.

  • The last date to apply for NMMS exam 2019 is different for different states.
  • Before filling the NMMS 2019 form, students must check the eligibility norms and keep the required documents ready.
  • Students can obtain the NMMS exam form online or offline from the Liasion Officer appointed in each state and UT.
  • The completely filled NMMS 2019 admission form should be submitted to the head of the institution.

  • The NMMS Exam Fees is Rs. 100/- per student (if applicable). However, the affiliation fees for institutes is Rs. 200/- per year per institution.
