NMMS Exam 2019 - SCERTs have released the NMMS forms. The last date to submit online NMMS 2019 forms through NSP is October 15, 2019. Students who are studying in Class 8th from any recognized school are eligible for NMMS exam 2019. Also, the student's parental income should be less than Rs. 1,50,000. Applicants will be able to collect the NMMS 2019 admit card from the SCERT's website. The other mode to get the NMMS exam hall ticket is through schools. Students can collect the admit card 15 days prior to the NMMS exam. The selection of students will be made based on their performance in the written test. NMMS Exam 2019 will be held on November 2, 3 or 17, 2019 in offline mode. NMMS exam is conducted for a total of 180 marks for the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT). The objective of NMMS exam 2019 is to award scholarships to 100,000 students who belong to economically weaker sections and encourage them to continue their education at the secondary stage. Selected students will be awarded the NMMS 2019 scholarship of Rs. 1000 per month from class IX till class XII. Students preparing for the NMMS exam 2019 must go through the exam pattern to know about the marking scheme, the number of questions and so on. The test comprises two sections, Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Details regarding the exam pattern of NMMS exam 2019 are given below:
NMMS Exam Pattern
Test Duration- The duration for MAT is 120 minutes and for SAT is also 120 minutes.
Marking Scheme- Each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking
Exam Mode- NMMS Exam 2019 will be held in offline or pen and paper-based mode.
Exam Type- All questions are objective type. Out of 4 possible answers, students have to select only one correct.
For relevant NMMS exam books, students can refer to NCERT Class 8th Books only.
NMMS MAT section test a candidate’s reasoning and critical thinking skills. The questions will be based on analogy, pattern perception, classification, hidden figures etc.
Students have to attain at least 40% marks (32% for SC/ST) both MAT & SAT papers.
There is no prescribed NMMS exam 2019 syllabus. Hence, it is recommended referring to NCERT Class 8th Syllabus. However, the paper will cover questions from the syllabus of class VII and VIII.

NMMS Scholarship holders must be promoted in single attempts through the years to Class 12 with 55% of marks (50% for reserved category) and 60% in class 10 (55% for reserved) for the continuation of the scholarship. The selected candidates will have to open a joint account with parents in the State Bank of India and the amount will be deposited by the bank in their account on a quarterly basis. NMMS exam 2019 scholarship will provide scholarships to candidates under the following four categories:
Pre - Matric Scholarship Scheme - For students studying from Class 1st to Class 10th.
Post - Matric Scholarship Scheme - For students studying in Class 11, 12 and above including courses like B. Tech, Medical, ITI, B.SC, B. Com. etc.
Top Class Scholarship Scheme - For students studying in top-level colleges across India such as IITs and IIMs.
Merit cum Means (MCM) Scholarship Scheme - This scheme is for students pursuing technical and professional courses at graduation and post-graduation level.
