More About Tripura Madhyamik Exams 2026:

  • The TBSE Madhyamik routine 2026 will be announced in December 2025. 
  • The TBSE Madhyamik practical exams (only for vocational subjects) will be held from November 17 to December 6, 2025.  
  • The TBSE Class 10 exams will be held in February-March 2026. Last year, the board exams were conducted from February 25 to March 18, 2025.
  • Students should go through the complete TBSE 10th syllabus to appear for the board examination.
  • The TBSE 10th hall tickets will be released through schools. Students can collect the TBSE Madhyamik Class 10 admit card 2026 from their respective schools.
  • They must also download and solve TBSE Madhyamik question papers to practice with the different types of questions asked in the Tripura class 10th board exams.

  • The Tripura board will release the TBSE Madhyamik result in April 2026. The results will be made available on the official results portal, tbresults.tripura.gov.in.
  • Students are required to score a minimum of 30 per cent marks in all five subjects to pass the TBSE 10th board examination 2026.

  • The TBSE Madhyamik exam 2026 is held for 3 hours. An extra 15 minutes are given for reading the question paper. According to the TBSE 10th exam pattern, the maximum marks for each subject are 80.
  • The English question paper will be divided into 4 sections, namely Reading (20 marks), Writing (10 marks), Grammar (20 marks) and Literature (30 marks).
  • The maths question paper will consist of 27 questions that will be divided into four groups: A, B, C and D. Group A contains 3 questions of one mark each. Group B contains 5 questions of two marks each, Group C contains 9 questions of three marks each and Group D contains 10 questions of four marks each. There will be three questions for internal choice, one in Group C and two in Group D.
  • The Science paper will have 3 sections- Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students need to solve the questions within a duration of 3 hours. The theory paper is of 70 marks and the practical is of 30 marks.
  • In the Social Science paper, 1 hour and 30 minutes will be given for History and Political Science, where the maximum score is 40. Another 1 hour and 30 minutes are given for Geography and Economics. The maximum marks here, too, are 40.

            In Madhyamik most of the questions are based on the books. If you have sincerely studied the topics from the books then you can definitely score good marks in the boards. Very few questions will be tricky. Practice the test papers as it will be really helpful for the preparation of the exam. You can grasp the question style, difficulty and paper pattern by practicing the test papers. Also, practice the previous years question papers as well.
