JSTSE 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria

Students may apply for the Junior Science Talent Search Examination 2024–2025 if they meet the eligibility requirements listed below:

• He/She should be enrolled in Class 9 during the academic year 2024-25, attending a government, government-aided, or recognized private school, whether aided or unaided.

• The student should have successfully completed their Class 8 examinations during the academic year 2022-23 and obtained a minimum of 65% marks.

• There is no minimum annual income limit applicable for JSTSE 2024-25.

• There are no provisions for relaxation in minimum marks for SC/ST/PH/OBC/EWS category students.

JSTSE 2024-25 Application Form

An application form for this exam can be found online in the form of a PDF file. Interested students can download the JSTSE 2024-25 registration forms from the official website. Through the respective schools, applications will be accepted in an offline mode.

How to Fill JSTSE Application Form 2024-25?

• Students must print out three copies of the application form.

• Every student is required to complete three forms.

• Next, they should provide the necessary documents in the attachment.

• After that, submit the JSTSE 2024–25 application forms to the respective school authority.

• Before the deadline, which is expected to fall in the last week of September 2024, school officials will attest the application form and submit the same DEO (Science Branch).

JSTSE 2024-25 Syllabus

JSTSE exam 2024-25 does not have a prescribed syllabus. Nevertheless, the difficulty level of the exam is based on the level of class 9 students. The questions are based on the NCERT class 9 syllabus. The JSTSE 2024-25 will consist of two papers. The first paper will consist of general knowledge questions, while the second paper will include questions from science and mathematics. JSTSE examinations 2024-25 do not have negative marking and the exam will last 200 minutes from 10am to 1:20pm. The PH students will be given 30 extra minutes.

• In order to practise with various questions, students should download and solve previous year's question papers and sample papers.

• Based on the JSTSE 2024-25 Syllabus, these sample papers will help students understand important topics, the types of questions asked in the examination, and various other aspects of the examination.

• Following the completion of JSTSE sample papers, it's crucial to analyse one's performance. This helps in identifying any shortcomings and provides an opportunity to address and improve them, ultimately aiding in better preparation for the examination.

JSTSE 2024-25 Answer Key

The Science Branch of the DoE is scheduled to release the JSTSE answer key 2024-25 during the first week of January 2025. This answer key will be made available on the official website in PDF format and will contain the correct answers for all the questions posed in the examination. Students can utilise the official JSTSE 2024-25 answer key to estimate their marks.

JSTSE 2024-25 Result

• The results of the JSTSE exam 2024-25 will be announced in the second week of March 2025.

• It will be announced through a merit list, which contains the names of the scholarship recipients.

• JSTSE 2024-25 results will be made available in pdf format on the official website (edudel.nic.in).

• A total of 150 students will be selected for the scholarship in JSTSE 2024-25.

JSTSE Cutoff 2024-25

For successful completion of this exam, each student must receive 40% in each subject. The authority withholds the cutoff marks. However, we have tabulated the minimum and maximum scores received by selected students in previous academic years. Cut off marks can also be used to describe minimum scores.

• Scholarships will only be awarded to shortlisted students.

• The marks scored in the JSTSE 2024-25 examination will determine the selection of around 150 students.

• The amount of the JSTSE scholarship is not stated on the official website.

• In any case, students should know that the Directorate of Education in Delhi will award a good amount of scholarship money and a certificate to qualifying candidates.
