The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation that offers four high-quality and challenging educational programs for students aged 3 to 19 years old. These programs are designed to develop students' intellectual, personal, and social skills, and to prepare them for university and life beyond.

The IB Diploma Programme is the most widely recognised of the IB programs. It is a two-year program that culminates in a series of rigorous examinations. Students who complete the DP are awarded an IB Diploma. There are more than 5,000 schools across 160 countries to take IB school admission.

Meticulously fill out the IB application forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Finally, submit an IB school application according to the school's guidelines, whether online or in person.

IB School Admission: Assessment

Some schools may require you to take standardized tests, while others may conduct their entrance exams, which can include written tests, interviews, or practical assessments. Eligible applicants will be invited for an assessment to evaluate their skills and identify any special needs. Students in Years 1-12 will participate in an age-appropriate assessment that includes English, math, and non-verbal skills. No prior content preparation is necessary.

The assessment results will help determine your subject choices for the IB Diploma program. For higher-level subjects, you'll need to meet specific minimum grade requirements. Assessments will be conducted either in person at The British School or online, depending on your location.

Interviews/ Interaction

Prepare for your interview by anticipating questions about your academic interests, extracurricular activities, and reasons for choosing the school. Practice your responses to common interview questions to boost your confidence.
