About UCO 2018
Unified Cyber Olympiad (UCO) is conducted for students of classes 2 to 10. The result of UCO 2018 level 1 has been declared. UCO Level 1 exam was held on October 5, 2018. The last date to apply for the exam was August 26, 2018. UCO motivates children to strengthen their knowledge of using mental ability, logical reasoning & computer knowledge which will help them in overcoming problems related to software, management crises, lack of judgement and decision-making. UCO 2018 is held across the country with the objective of streamlining computer education, instilling competitiveness in computer education, including logic, reasoning and mental ability in the learning process, identifying talent and assessing students on a nationwide platform and exposing students to the latest technology and study in computers.
UCO 2018 is conducted at two levels. Level 1 is conducted in respective schools. 500 shortlisted students from every class will sit for Level 2 exam conducted at the nearest selected State Head Quarters/Main Town. Level 2 exam of UCO 2018 will be conducted in the first week of February, 2019.

According to the UCO 2018 eligibility criteria, any student of classes 2 to 12 could apply for the exam.

The application process of UCO 2018 is over. Students could register by paying the examination fee of Rs.120/- to the concerned school officials only. Those desirous of referring to Model Question Papers were to add Rs.40 for a set of Previous Question Papers. The last date to apply was August 26, 2018. Venue of the UCO will be respective schools only and there is no open centre facility for this examination. Thus, direct/individual applications forms for UCO 2018 were not accepted. Students were requested to apply for UCO 2018 through respective schools only.

UCO 2018 Preparation Tips
- Know the syllabus: Students must know all the topics being covered and then begin the preparation for UCO 2018.
- Sit with correct study material: It is important to make sure one refers right books for preparation. The content and topics covered should be relevant, the level of difficulty should be in lines of the actual test, etc. UCO also provides one book of Cyber Tactics Series to all the students who enroll for the exam.
- Practice sample papers: Students can download and practice sample papers available on the official website. They can also purchase model sample papers of UCO 2018 while registering for the exam.
- Stay updated: Read newspapers and G.K books to prepare well for the exam.
- Eat healthy
- Regularly sleep on time
UCO 2018 Exam Pattern
Unified Cyber Olympiad 2018, with the goal of streamlining computer education across the country will be conducted in English language. Every class from 2 to 10 will have a different question paper. According to the UCO exam pattern, all questions asked will be objective type or MCQs only. UCO 2018 will not have any negative marking. There will be a total of 50 questions of 50 marks thus, each question will carry 1 mark. The duration of the exam is 1 hour. The marking scheme/exam pattern of UCO 2018 at both the levels is mentioned below:
UCO 2018 Admit Card
The first level of UCO 2018 is conducted in schools only. Unified Council issues admit cards for UCO 2018 at second level for selected students. The UCO admit cards are dispatched to the respective school address.
UCO 2018 Result
The UCO result 2018 has been released by Unified Council in the month of November, 2018. The second level of UCO 2018 will be conducted tentatively in the first week of February and the result will be released in March.
Certificates and Reports
All participating students receive Participating Certificate and a Cyber Diagnostic Report (CDR) which mentions the following details:

Graphical representation performance Subject wise - Skill wise
Group Highest mark
Group Average mark CDR provides a real feedback on real learning. It allows the students to know where they stand and pinpoints areas of strengths and weakness. This report is provided for feedback and improvement.
Awards to winners
The student who achieves the highest percentage of marks in UCO result in among all the classes is awarded a cash prize of Rs.2,00,000 cash prize.
The top 3 rankers in each class will be awarded a Tablet PC, a Memento and a Medal.
The next 7 rankers of each class (Ranks 4-10) will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs.1000 each.
The next 15 rankers of each class (Ranks 11-25) of classes II-X will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 500 each.
Top 100 rankers in each class will be awarded with a Britannica Encyclopedia of India and The Weather-2 CD PACK.
Top 100 rankers from each class will be awarded with Reasoning Trainer Plus Book, a medal and a certificate of appreciation.
All the National, Zone Rankers of classes 1-9 will be offered a voucher worth Rs. 400 from www.mapmySTEP.com.
All the top rankers from 1-100 will be awarded a Medal and a certificate of appreciation.
