MCM Scholarship for BPL students, Kerala is offered by Government of Kerala to meritorious students. The scholarship caters to students who live below the poverty line. Government offers financial assistance to students who fulfil their eligibility. The scholarship aims to help students complete their studies without financial stress. Students will get a scholarship amount of INR 5,000.
Students from BPL category and studying in government or government aided higher secondary school are eligible. They must have scored a valid score in secondary school or equivalent. Also, the attendance must be at least 70% and 40% for disabled students.
The merit scholarship for SC/ST/OBC minority is provided by the state government. It also aims to provide financial assistance to the students who are meritorious and underprivileged. The scholarship aims to offer an amount up to INR 1,860 as maintenance allowance and other benefits for postgraduate courses and other technical and professional courses.
