The Eligibility Criteria for KVPY 2015, applicable only to Indian National is divided under three categories, which are: Stream SA, SX and SB. The details for all the category are provided below.

KVPY 2015 Eligibility Criteria:
Stream SA: As per this category, students who are in class XI Science stream, have 80% aggregate in Mathematics and Science in class X boards are eligible. For SC/ST/PWD candidates, 70% aggregate marks in Maths and Science are required to be eligible for KVPY 2015 fellowship/scholarship programme.
If a student fulfils this basic eligibility, he/she is monitored for a year until class XII. Once a student scores a minimum of 60% marks in the class XII science stream and takes admission into the undergraduate programme in the mentioned Basic Life science courses, the fellowship/scholarship gets activated.
In the monitoring or the mentoring period of one year, student has to attend Regional and National camps conducted by KVPY.
Stream SX: Students of class XII science stream, who have scored minimum of 60%marks in XII boards and 80% in class X boards, are eligible for KVPY 2015 fellowship/scholarship. The fellowship will be activated whenthe student would take admission in the above mentioned courses of Basic Life sciences in their undergraduate studies. The relaxation for SC/ST/PWD candidates is 50% in class XII boards and 70% in X class boards.
The same KVPY 2015 Eligibility Criteria is applicable to Indian students in their second year of study in Cambridge International Examination Board who aspire to join undergraduate programme in the Basic Sciences subjects that are mentioned above.
Stream SB: Under this category, students who are in the first year of their undergraduate study in the mentioned course of Basic Life sciences are Eligible for the KVPY 2015. Students must have a score of minimum 60% marks in class XII science stream and first year of final examination. For SC/ST/PWD candidates, a minimum of 50% is required at +2 level and first year examination.
The KVPY 2015 fellowship grants under its various categories by the Department of Science and Technology is given in the table below. These amounts of scholarships to the students are provided until their pre-Ph.D level.

SA/SX/SB - during 1st to 3rd years of - B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math. / Integrated M.Sc. /M.S.
SA/SX/SB - during M. Sc. / 4th to 5th years of Integrated M.Sc. /M.S

In the official website of KVPY you can check out the the releasing date of application form of KVPY 2021. You just have to fill up the form and register yourself and then you can give the examination on the date. Yes it is also valid for class 12.
