Doon International School (DIS) was established in 1993. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and managed by Doon International Educational Society. “The study programmes and standards of performance in every discipline are designed to prepare our students for degrees that are recognised globally. Doon International School is managed by a registered, nonprofit organisation that focuses on education and is not for profit and is made up of devoted educators and reputable social workers,” says the school’s website. The school is currently being led by Ira Bogra.

Doon International School, Mohali, students of Classes 5 and 6 competed in an inter-house football game yesterday. Each squad performed admirably and thoroughly enjoyed the game. In the finals, Ashoka and Ranjit House provided fierce opposition, forcing teams to use penalty shots to determine the winner. Ranjit House won the rolling trophy followed by Ashoka House in second place, and Akbar House in third place.
