West Bengal, Bihar State Scholarship List: Eligibility, How To Apply, Official Websites

Rahul ShrivastavaUpdated on 14 May 2022, 09:09 AM IST

In addition to the central scholarship schemes, every state government also offers numerous scholarship schemes to encourage children belonging to historically marginalised groups – Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward and Economically Backward Classes (SC, ST, BC, EBC) – and economically weaker sections (EWS) to stay in school or pursue higher education. A large number of scholarships are dedicated to girl students. There are pre and post-matric scholarships; ones that cover education all the way to research; and some specially for those students pursuing professional or technical degrees.
