Goa Board SSC 2024 Preparation Tips

Goa Board SSC 2024 is especially important for choosing a stream in Class 11th. In order to do their best to get the stream students want to pursue in further studies, they need to work hard and study in a smart way. Here are some tips and tricks used by the toppers to prepare for Goa board SSC 2024:

  • Languages : In order to prepare for languages, you need to work on three things: 1) Reading and comprehension speed, 2) Grammar and writing formats and 3) Literature and analysis.
  • Mathematics : Mathematics is a fun subject when you get the hang of it. However, some students solve mathematics more as a task rather than a fun exercise. Take the help of your teachers and friends when you're stuck anywhere. Don't make it a task.
  • Social studies : Social studies is usually only two things at a time. Either facts or a narrative. Treating Social studies in this way goes a long way. You remember things more clearly and it is crucial to know these facts anyway. Learn it for self-enrichment rather than the exam.
  • Science : All those pesky equations and formulas are not much trouble if you know your way around Science. In order to do this, keep your basics clear and go through your textbooks often.

It must be noted that the duration of the Goa Board SSC exam 2024 varies from subject to subject. The total marks of the exam vary between 80, 65 and 40 marks respectively. Subjects with practical exams carry 80 marks for theory & 20 marks for the practical assessment. Of the 20 marks in practicals, 25% marks are for internal assessment.

Mock tests and sample papers are instrumental for success in the Goa board 10th exam. Go through this section to know the importance of mock tests in the Goa Board SSC exam.

which streams are available after 10 th?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 6th May, 2022

Hi

Here's the list of streams that you have after 10th for your inter/ 10+2 i. e 11th and 12th

---------------------------)  Science :-  The science stream can be further divided into 3 groups depending upon the subjects one chooses

  • ******  Non medical  :- Science with PCM i.e physics, chemistry , maths group. There's no biology in PCM group.

You should basically choose this if you want to pursue engineering/architecture etc in future.

  • ******  Medical  :- Science with PCB i.e  physics, chemistry biology.

You should choose PCB group if you want to get into medical field like mbbs, bds, nursing etc in future .

  • ******  PCMB  :- You can even go for science with PCMB i.e physics Chemistry Maths and Biology  if you are interested in studying both Maths and Biology in your 10+2. But yes, it becomes a bit difficult to handle both biology and Maths.

One advantage of choosing pcmb is after 10+2 you can go for both medical courses like MBBS, bams, nursing etc and non medical courses like engineering as well.

--------------------------)   Commerce   :- You get to study subjects like Accounts, Business studies, Economics & Maths ,Commerce etc. If you want to become a chartered accountant, company secretary, financial advisor etc in future, then commerce is for you. In commerce you acquire commercial knowledge required for business.

---------------------------)   Arts   :- If you like subjects like history, polity etc then you can go for Arts. You get to study subjects like History, Geography, Literature, Political Science, economics etc. You should go for arts if you aspire to get into Journalism, literature, languages, history, psychology etc.

Now, out of all these options  which will be the best and you should go for your intermediate/10+2  depends upon:-

******Your interest

******What do you want to become,

For example,

You should choose PCM science if you want to become an engineer, PCB science if you want to become a doctor, you should choose commerce if you want to be a banker or an accountant, you should choose arts if you want to become a journalist or you are interested in literature etc. So, it all depends upon your interest and what do you want to become in future so take your time and decide.
