Introduction:

There are more than 6 lakh villages in India. Much like an urban setting, each village needs a list of public services and facilities the government provides. India is predominantly a land of villages. A major portion of the Indian population resides in villages because the Indian economy is an agrarian economy. In essence, it epitomizes India's post-independence progress. Indian villages reflect the real face of India. Mahatma Gandhi said that true India lives in the village. The Government of Free India paid great attention to deregulating rural India's population. Indian villages still face problems ranging from lack of education to poor sanitation.

Life in an Indian Village:

India's villages contribute greatly to agriculture, making India an agricultural land. Indian village life is called country life, and city life is called city life. Indian village life for students and children is different from city family life. Children often work on family farms and work as farmers. Farmers are the most underrated people in our society. They work twice as hard to put food on our plates, but they're not getting half the pay they deserve. Without any modern machinery, they work long days starting before sunrise and ending the day after sunset.
