One candidate can appear for unlimited time in the IPBS PO exam, given that he meets the age restrictions in the IBPS PO exam. The number of attempts in the IBPS PO exam is not restricted or limited. If a candidate appears in the Prelims (whether passed or failed), it is considered an attempt.
IBPS PO is an abbreviation for the IBPS Probationary Officers recruiting exam. This exam is held to choose Probationary Officers/Management Trainees (PO/MT) for India's 11 public sector banks. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) administers this examination each year. Three components make up the IBPS CRP PO/MT test: the preliminary exam, the main exam, and the interview. The IBPS PO recruitment procedure is outlined below:
Application form release: The application form is now available on the official website. Registration, uploading a photograph and signature, filling out the complete application form, uploading a left thumb impression and a handwritten declaration, and fee payment are all part of the application procedure.
Admission card distribution: IBPS PO admit cards are distributed online at various stages. The registration number, roll number, date of birth, or password must be used to log in before candidates can get their admission cards.
Appearing in the exam: The exam is divided into the following three stages: preliminary, mains, and interview. Candidates who pass the preliminary examination are invited to sit the main examination. Candidates are invited to the interview based on their performance in the main exam. Candidates are picked based on their performance in the main exam and the interview.
IBPS PO results are declared online in three stages: preliminary, mains, and final allotment. Candidates must log in using a registration or roll number, password or date of birth to view the results.
Applicants for the Probationary Officer exam must meet the following requirements:
Candidates must be citizens of India.
Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, are eligible to take the exam for permanent residency.
Candidates of Indian ancestry (PIO) who have migrated from Pakistan, Vietnam, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African nations such as Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Kenya, Zaire, Ganda, and Ethiopia intending to settle permanently in India may take the exam.
A degree (graduate degree) in any discipline from a university recognised by the government of India, or any other qualification that the Central Government recognises as being comparable.
On the day of registration, the candidate must have a current mark sheet or degree certificate proving that they are graduates and must declare their percentage of graduation marks when registering online.
Candidates must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
To take the PO exam, candidates must be 21 years old and not older than 30 years old. However, age relaxation is provided for many categories under Government of India rules.
Along with the whole form of IBPS PO, understanding the functions and responsibilities of probationary officers is essential. Bank hours are typically from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. however, may be extended due to workload. During their probation time, IBPS PO employees are instructed in bank operations like finance, billing, collection, accounting, revenue, investment, and so on. They are also in charge of answering consumer questions, managing and supervising branch activities, public relations, addressing customer issues and complaints, processing loans, and other crucial tasks.
Preliminary examinations for IBPS PO will be held online.
The IBPS PO Prelims have three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning.
Exam Time- The exam will last one hour (60 minutes).
The nature of the questions in the exam will be objective (MCQs). Each question will have five possible answers, with only one correct.
Marking Scheme: Every question is worth one point. There is also the option of negative marking, which means that 0.25 points will be deducted for each incorrect response.
Language of Exam- The English portion will only have questions in English, while the remainder of the sections will have questions in both English and Hindi.

Exam Mode- The IBPS PO Main exam will be held both online and offline.
The IBPS PO Main exam has four sections: English, Data Analysis & Interpretation, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, and General Awareness. The Descriptive Paper in the IBPS PO Main Exam will consist of two questions: Letter Writing and Essay Writing.

Exam Time- The exam will last 3 hours and 30 minutes (3 hours for objective paper and 30 minutes for descriptive paper).
The format of the questions will be 155 multiple-choice questions and two written questions. Each question will have five possible answers, with only one correct.

Candidates who clear the main exam will be eligible for the interview phase.
The interview will be worth 100 points.
The IBPS PO Selection Process has reached its conclusion.
This round is worth 20% of the overall score.
This round evaluates a candidate's communication abilities and personality.
For General Category candidates, the minimal mark to qualify for the Interview phase is 40%. Candidates from the reserved group must obtain at least 35%. As a result, it is critical to prepare well for the interview using the best preparation tactics.
The final Merit List is determined by the results of the Main Exam and the Interview.
The IBPS PO combined score would be calculated using the candidates' scores in the Main Examination and Interview in the ratio of 80:20.
Following the conclusion of the interview round, preliminary allotment will be made based on the openings in various banks.
The cut-off marks are the minimum marks required to pass a certain exam. Candidates must meet the cut-off to be shortlisted and appear in the next stage of the exam.
The cut-offs for each step of this exam, including Prelim, Main, and Interview, vary. Candidates must, however, get high marks to be considered for the final round.
The cut-off point is determined by the IBPS. It is determined by the level of the questions, the number of people taking the exam, and the number of openings.
The final appointment will be determined based on a candidate's IBPS PO Mains score and interview score.
Keep in mind that if you are selected for the interview, you will not be given your Mains exam score. It will be revealed after adding your Interview and Mains scores for the final selection.
