My Favourite Childhood Memory

Childhood memories are always fun to recall after a tiring day at work. My fondest memories are all of my friends running together, friends creating mischief together, and playing cricket in the gullies. Summer holidays used to be just as fun and exciting. My friends and I would play football matches where we would imagine ourselves as our favourite football player. The losing team had to buy the winning team chocolates from the neighbourhood shop—we all would share and have a great laugh over it. When not playing football, we would play hide and seek in the gullies. Everyone would tactically hide and control their laughter lest someone finds them and screams ‘Gotcha’. After all the time spent playing outside, we would have to go back home to complete our holiday homework. My mom used to make my favourite meal during the holidays. It was always a pain to imagine the end of summer holidays and going back to school. Childhood was indeed a memorable journey that we still recall after a tiring day.
