Table of 80, pronounced as Table of Eighty, is the level-up version of Table of Eight (8). If we know the Table of Eight, then it will be quite easy to learn and write the Table of 80. We just have to add zero at the end of each result of Table of Eight. Additionally, the Table of 80 results from the repetitive addition of 80 on the basis of the indicated number.
80 (Eighty) is the natural number which comes after Seventy-Nine and before Eighty-One. It is a two-digit number. Table of Eighty is the multiplication of Eighty with the consecutive natural number to obtain the desired result. It is also defined as the sum of eighty with a number of times a natural number is indicated to it.
The Table of 80 up to 10 is as follows:
In addition form:
\begin{aligned}
&80 = 80 \\
&80 + 80 = 160 \\
&80 + 80 + 80 = 240\\
&80 + 80 +80 +80 = 320 \\
&80 +80 +80 +80 +80 = 400 \\
&80 +80 +80 +80 +80 +80 = 480 \\
&80 +80 +80 +80 +80 +80 +80 = 560 \\
&80 +80 +80 +80 +80 +80 +80 +80= 640 \\
&80 + 80 +80 +80 +80 +80 +80 +80 +80 = 720 \\
&80 + 80 +80 +80 +80 +80 +80 +80 +80 +80= 800 \\
\end{aligned}
\begin{aligned}
&80 \times 1 = 80 \\
&80 \times 2 = 160 \\
&80 \times 3 = 240\\
&80 \times 4 = 320 \\
&80 \times 5 = 400 \\
&80 \times 6 = 480 \\
&80 \times 7 = 560 \\
&80 \times 8 = 640 \\
&80 \times 9 = 720 \\
&80 \times 10 = 800 \\
\end{aligned}
The Table of Eight in words is as follows:
Eighty times One is equal to Eighty.
Eighty times Two is equal to One Hundred Sixty.
Eighty times Three is equal to Two Hundred Forty.
Eighty times Four is equal to Three Hundred Twenty.
Eighty times Five is equal to Four Hundred.
Eighty times Six is equal to Four Hundred Eighty.
Eighty times Seven is equal to Five Hundred Sixty.
Eighty times Eight is equal to Six Hundred Forty.
Eighty times Nine is equal to Seven Hundred Twenty.
Eighty times Ten is equal to Eight Hundred.
Problem 1. What is the value of Eighty times Twenty-One?
Solution 1. The value of Eight times Twenty-Four is One Thousand Six Hundred Eighty.
Problem 2. Write the result of Eighty times Sixteen in Words.
Solution 2. Eighty times Sixteen can be written mathematically as:
\begin{aligned}
&80 \times 16 = 1280 \\
\end{aligned}
Hence, the required result is One Thousand Two Hundred Eighty.
Problem 3. What is the value of Eighty times Ten minus Fifty?
Solution 3. First, we will mathematically write Eighty times Ten minus Fifty.
\begin{aligned}
&80 \times 10 - 50 = 750 \\
\end{aligned}
So, Eighty times Ten minus Fifty is Seven Hundred Fifty.
Problem 4. What are the first five three multiples of 80?
Solution 4. The first six multiples of 8 are 80, 160, 240, 320, and 400.
Problem 5. Raju and Manoj have Twenty and Sixty chocolates each. If the cost of One chocolate is Five Rupees, then find the cost of the total chocolates together.
Solution 5. The number of chocolates Raju has is Twenty and the number of chocolates Manoj has is Sixty.
Hence, the total number of chocolate is 20+60 =80
Now, the cost of one chocolate is Five Rupees.
Hence, the cost of Eighty chocolates is 80x5=400:
