The 153 times table is known as the multiplication table of 153, the calculation for which can be obtained by multiplication and the continuous addition of 153 with other natural numbers. For instance, 153 multiplied by 4 can be presented as 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 = 612. In the same manner, 153 \times 4 = 612.
If we have a good command over the table of 153, we will be able to do mental maths, which is a very vital and required skill for appearing in any competitive examination. The learning of the table will also help the students to do calculations or solve problems. With a good grasp of the multiplication table of 153, one would be able to crack good marks in the time-based examinations, where calculations are to be done very quickly. This will also provide a good enhancement in their problem-solving skills. Let’s take a look at the table of 153, and memorise them quickly.
The table of 153 refers to the multiplication table of 153, where the answer is obtained by repeated addition and multiplication, with any other natural number. A close look at this chart of the multiplication table of 153 would help the students in doing basic arithmetic calculations which will also work as a building block for doing higher maths like exponents, fractions, and many more. Let’s take a look at the chart below:
153\times 1 = 153 | 153 |
153 \times 2 = 306 | 153+ 153 = 306 |
153 \times 3 = 459 | 153 + 153 + 153 = 459 |
153 \times 4 = 612 | 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 = 612 |
153 \times 5 = 765 | 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 = 765 |
153 \times 6 = 918 | 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 = 918 |
153 \times 7 = 1071 | 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 = 1071 |
153 \times 8 = 1224 | 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 = 1224 |
153 \times 9 = 1377 | 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 = 1377 |
153 \times 10 = 1530 | 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 + 153 = 1530 |

Example 1:
There are 153 people in a church on Christmas Day. 612 chocolates are to be shared equally among them. How many chocolates will each one of them get? Solve it using the table multiplication of 153.
Solution:
Total number of chocolates = 612
Number of people present = 153
Using the multiplication table of 153, 153 \times 4 = 612
Hence, each one of them will get 4 chocolates.
Example 2:
What will be the difference between two consecutive multiples of 153? Solve it using the table multiplication of 153.
Solution:
The difference between any two consecutive multiples of 153 will be 153.
For instance, 153 \times 13 = 1989 and 153 \times 14 = 2142
, then,
2142 - 1989
= 153
Example 3:
Determine the value of 153 \times 16 and then add 1700, using the table of 153.
Solution:
153 \times 16= 153 \times 16= 2448
153 \times 16 and then add 1700
= 2448 + 1700
= 4148
Therefore, the value of 153 \times 16 , and adding 1700 to it gives 4148
Example 4:
What will be the value of 59\times 153 , using the table of 153?
Solution:
59\times 153 = 153 \times 59 = 9027
Therefore, the value of 59\times 153 is 9027.
Example 5:
What will be the value of (153 \times 44 )\div 12 , using the table of 153?
Solution:
153 \times 44 = 6732
(153 \times 44 )\div 12
= 6732 \div 12
= 561
Therefore, the value of (153 \times 44 )\div 12 is 561.
