    Introduction

The table of a number signifies the multiplication value of that number, usually from 1 to 10 for simplicity’s sake. The multiplication value of a number is nothing but the number of times that number has been added by itself. Taking the example of 1, the table of 1 would represent the multiplication value of 1 when it is added to itself.

    What Is Table Of 121?

The table of 121 represents the multiplication value of 121, which gives the product of 121 with the natural numbers. In layman’s terms, it is the continuous value of 121 if it were to be added to itself. I.e

    121 \times 3=363

    1688635809912

    Or, 121+121+121 = 363

In this way, we can break down the multiplication table of 121 into two sections.

121 - the main number that is to be added

    \times - (multiplied by)

3 - the number of times the main number is to be added

    = - (equals)

    363 - the final answer

    Solved Problems

    Problem 1: Find the value of ‘a’ if 121 \times a=1210 1688635810103

    Solution:

    If 121 \times a=1210 1688635810008

    a = 1210/121

    a = 10

Therefore, the value of ‘a’ is 10.

Problem 2: If a pen costs INR 121 and you buy 5 such pens then how much money did you spend?

    Solution:

    1 pen costs INR 121.

    That is 121 \times 1=121 1688635809800

    Then, 5 pens would cost

    121 \times 5=605 1688635809668

Therefore, the amount of money spent on 5 pens was INR 605.

Problem 3: Let’s say each apple costs $7 and you need 121 apples for your shop. Then how much money would you have to spend on apples?

    Solution:

One piece of apple costs $7

Then 121 pieces of apple would cost

    7 ✖ 121 =847

Therefore, you’d have to spend $847 on apples.

Problem 4: Let’s assume you have INR 121 and your friend gives you INR 121 more. How much money do you have now?

    Solution:

    I have INR 121.

I get an additional INR 121.

Then my total would be 121+121=121 ✖ 2=242

Therefore, my total is INR 242.

Problem 5: A man jogs 4 miles each day. How many miles would he jog in 121 days?

    Solution:

A man jogs 4 miles in 1 day

So, in 121 days, he would jog

    4 ✖ 121=484

Therefore, in 121 days he would jog 484 miles.

    Times Table Of 121

Times table basically represents that when a number n is added to itself ‘m’ times the result is equal to the number as “n ✖ m”, the repeated addition yields the same result as multiplication. It is shown below in the table.

    121 × 1 = 121

    121

    121 × 2 = 242

    121+121=242

    121 × 3 = 363

    121+121+121=363

    121 × 4 = 484

    121+121+121+121=484

    121 × 5 = 605

    121+121+121+121+121=605

    121 × 6 = 726

    121+121+121+121+121+121=726

    121 × 7 = 847

    121+121+121+121+121+121+121=847

    121 × 8 = 968

    121+121+121+121+121+121+121+121=968

    121 × 9 = 1089

    121+121+121+121+121+121+121+121+121=1089

    121 × 10 = 1210

    121+121+121+121+121+121+121+121+121+121=1210
