  5. More Information About 101

All the numbers starting from 1, like 1 2 3, are natural numbers. Therefore, 101 is also a natural number.

A number is said to be a prime number if it can be divided by numbers other than 1 and itself. Since 101 can only be divided by 1 and 101 itself, it is also a prime number.

A number is called a palindromic number if it looks and means the same from either side. Since 101 from both sides is 101 only, it is a palindromic number. An example of a non-palindromic number is 405 which on the other side is 504 which is not the same.

A number is called a Chen prime if the number which is two next to it is also prime or a product of two primes. In this case, we have 103 which is also a prime number. Therefore, 101 and 103 make a pair of Chen Prime numbers.

  1. Table Of 101

On adding 101 over and over again, we will get the table of 101.

\begin{array}{|l|l|}

\hline 101 \times 1=101 & 101 \\

\hline 101 \times 2=202 & 101+101=202 \\

\hline 101 \times 3=303 & 101+101+101=303 \\

\hline 101 \times 4=404 & 101+101+101+101=404 \\

\hline 101 \times 5=505 & 101+101+101+101+101=505 \\

\hline 101 \times 6=606 & 101+101+101+101+101+101=606 \\

\hline 101 \times 7=707 & 101+101+101+101+101+101+101=707 \\

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Why is 101 not a composite number?

For a number to be composite it should get completely divided with numbers other than 1 and itself also but 101 gets divided only with 1 and itself which is why it is not a composite number.

2. Are all numbers in the table of 101 prime?

No, they will not be prime because all of them can be divided by 101 which will make them composite.

3. What are 200 times 101?

101 \times 200 = 20200

4. Will 101 times 4 and 4 times 101 be the same?

Multiplication follows commutative property which means 101 times 4 will be the same as 4 times 101 which is 404.

5. Is 101 odd or even?
