We have already studied that whole numbers start from 0. So, whenever we have to find the whole number up to a particular digit, simply add one to that digit and we will get our answer.

For example, if we have to find a whole number up to 15, add one to 15.

1+15= 16. There are 16 whole numbers 15.

Again, to find the whole number in a particular digit add one to this number.

78+1 = 79. So, 79 wholes numbers are there up to 78.
