As we all know that one unit can be converted into another unit. This means units are interconvertible. There are many units of time such as hours, minutes, and seconds. A second is a unit of time and It is the smallest unit of time measurement. Do you know how many seconds there are in two days or 48 hours? There are 1,72,800 seconds in two days, want to know how? To know the relationship between various units of time, continue reading this article!!
There are 365 days in a year and one day is equal to 24 hours. So, to find out the number of hours in days, multiply days by 24 you will get your answer.
1 day = 24 hours.
We have seen the relationship between hours and days, now let's understand the relation between hours and minutes.
There are 60 minutes in one hour. So, to convert hours into minutes, multiply hours by 60.
1 hour = 60 minutes.
There are 60 seconds in one minute, so to convert a minute into a second, multiply minutes by 60.
1 minute = 60 seconds
As we have already discussed, there are 24 hours in a day and each hour is equal to 60 minutes and each minute is equal to 60 seconds.
So to find how many seconds are there in one day, multiply 24 by 60, and again multiply the product of 60 and 24 by 60.
So, 1 day = 24×60×60 seconds = 86,400 seconds.
Now to calculate how many seconds are there in 2 days, multiply it by 86,400.
2×86,400 = 1,72,800 seconds.
Hence we can say that there are
1, 72,800 seconds in two days.
