How Many Questions are There for The CAT Exam

There are 3 sections in the CAT exam. These are Quantitative Ability, Verbal and Reading comprehension and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. The quantitative ability has 22 questions with 14 being MCQ questions. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning has 20 questions with 15 being MCQ. Verbal and Reading comprehension has 22 questions of which 14 are MCQ. altogether there are 66 questions of which 49 are multiple-choice questions. Note that the number of questions in each section might vary but the total number of questions is around 64 - 76. The time duration is 2 hours. The time is divided in such a way that you'll have 40 minutes for each section. It also has a negative marking scheme in it, which means for every correct answer, you will be awarded +3 marks, while -1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
