The rhombus has two lines of symmetry.
Rhombus is a closed two-dimensional plane figure. It is regarded as a particular kind of parallelogram and acquires a distinct identity as a quadrilateral due to its peculiar characteristics. Because every side of the rhombus is the same length, it is an equilateral quadrilateral. The Greek word "rhómbos," which means "anything that spins," is the source of the English word "rhombus."
According to the definition, "symmetry is a mirror image." Symmetry is the property of any form or item that retains its original appearance after being twisted or flipped. Patterns are where symmetry exists. The word "symmetry" is frequently used in everyday speech since it can be seen everywhere, including in nature, art, architecture, etc. One half of a shape is the same as the other half, which is a balanced and proportionate similarity. Any shape that is not symmetrical is said to be asymmetrical.
A line of symmetry is any line that splits an item in half so that each half is the same. It is also said that these components are symmetrical to one another.
Rhombus has two lines of symmetry. Rhombus lines of balance, fictitious lines that divide the rhombus into two halves, give the shape its symmetry. The folded line indicates a line of symmetry, and the shape is symmetrical along its length, width, and diagonals if the folded part precisely aligns with the other half and all edges and corners match. The two symmetry lines of a rhombus are the diagonals. This is because the rhombus has the same shape as two halves when folded along a diagonal line.
Three, one, or even no lines of symmetry exist in a triangle.
There are two symmetry lines in a rhombus.
A triangular equilateral shape has three symmetry lines.
A regular pentagon contains five lines of symmetry.
There are seven symmetry lines in a regular heptagon.
