Introduction

In this article, we learn about nuclear supplier groups and their members. Nuclear supplier groups(NSG) are a group of all countries that are seeking to prevent the spreading of nuclear weapons, fissionable materials and other nuclear technology weapons by controlling the exporting of the materials, equipment and technology that can be used to manufacture nuclear weapons.

Members of Nuclear Supplier Groups (NSG)

There are 48 countries that have taken membership in NSG. Firstly, the NSG contains only seven countries as members. Later, its count increased to “forty-eight” (48). China joined NSG in 2004 as a member. In this, the most powerful countries like the United States of America, the United Kingdom, France, Russia and China have also become participating governments. Argentina is the Chair country of the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), and the Chairperson is Mr Gustavo Ainchil (Argentina).
