Girls are just as vital as boys in society for maintaining social balance. A few years ago, there was a significant decrease in the number of women compared to men. This was due to increased crimes against women, such as female foeticide, dowry deaths, rape, poverty, illiteracy, gender discrimination, and many more. Here are a few sample essays on the topic ‘save girl child’.
Save the girl kid is a critical social awareness topic for saving girl children around the country. Adopting some practical policies and techniques can rescue a girl child to a large extent. Poverty is widespread in society and significantly contributes to illiteracy and gender inequality in India. As a result, education is critical in reducing poverty and gender inequality and improving the status of girls and women in Indian society.
Low education leads to low engagement, which causes poverty and gender inequality in society. Education is the most effective way to increase women's status since it provides them with financial independence. The government is taking steps to guarantee that women have equal rights and opportunities in society.
Gender inequality remains profoundly ingrained in our society due to poverty and illiteracy. A girl child is just as significant as a boy child. Both are required for the survival of life on the soil. Even now, there are still areas of Indian society where girls are considered a burden. While boys are given many advantages, girls are frequently restricted to houses and given few or no opportunities to develop. It is a disgrace that incidences of female infanticide are still being reported regularly.
Several studies have claimed that the causes of female foeticide are low women's status in society, extreme poverty and illiteracy, which leads individuals to consider the dowry associated with a girl child and less access to training and education.
To equalise the number of women in society, raising public awareness about the importance of protecting the girl child is critical. We are a modern generation of humans seeking an environment where everyone is considered liberal and equal.
The Indian government has made several beneficial initiatives to rescue girl children, such as the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act of 2005, a ban on female infanticide, an immoral traffic (prevention) act, adequate education, gender equality, and so on.
Women have contributed significantly to economic growth, technologies, and researching every imaginable task. They have made their presence felt in every aspect of spirit, from making breakfast in the morning to walking in space. When a girl child is born, there is still a sense of dread and uneasiness in every stratum of Indian society. When faced with a choice, low-income families sometimes send their male children to school instead of their female children, leaving female children with burdensome home chores.

Ignorant people are unable to analyse their conduct objectively.
The expectation that a girl child will be an economic burden stems mainly from the guild's continued use of the dowry system.
Adult females' pre-existing low social status
Medical scanning of the sex of the child rules must be strictly enforced. Unfortunately, people continue to employ ultrasonography (diagnostic sonography) scans to determine the gender of an unborn child.
Dowry system should be avoided actively. An emphasis should be placed on imparting moral education to end this vicious system.
Educate people that there is no distinction between a girl and a boy child.
The initiative beti bachao, beti padhao is actively supported by the government, corporate groupings, human rights advocates, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). Corporate India is also allocating cash for the well-being of schoolgirls as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Female foeticide is a national issue as well as a social scourge. Unfortunately, the desire for a boy-child drives people to kill their unborn girl child. Therefore, it is critical to intervene and save the female children. We are a modern generation of humans seeking an environment where every unborn kid is accepted without regard for gender.
The first step toward saving a girl begins at home. We should encourage our family members, neighbours, friends, and relatives to protect them and spread the word. We should also encourage our family members to educate their girl child and provide them with equal opportunities. A girl child ought to be treated as an equal to a boy. Moreover, like everyone else, she deserves to be loved and valued. She contributes equally to the nation's development and growth. Furthermore, she works tirelessly for the benefit of society and the country.
Girls have also demonstrated their worth and can compete with guys in any field. They deserve to live as much as boys do and their life means the survival of the human species. It is critical that we begin with saving the female children in order to establish true women's empowerment. This is so because today's girls will become tomorrow's women. In this situation, social welfare organisations also play a crucial role because the government is unable to reach every part of the country. Women who are educated can make better judgements, lessen gender violence, and participate in the workforce. It is the first step toward eradicating inequality and prejudice based on gender.
