    Introduction

    In mathematics, tables are the shortcuts to derive a simplification of a problem. As it helps to cut down easily, everyone is strictly forced to memorise it from the initial stage of learning. It might seem to be tough at the beginning, but learning it on regular basis tables is the easiest thing to study. Because in further higher studies, there are so many hectic formulas and problems to solve. So, be familiar with tables to get rid of the pressure in the basic steps of mathematics.

    Table 69 is as follows will aid the students with their conflict with maths homework.

    Interesting Facts About Multiplication

    • The answer remains the same, even though numbers are multiplied in different orders.

    Example: 1689750689826

    \begin{equation}

    12 \times 2=24

    \end{equation}

    And

    2×12=24

    \begin{equation}

    2 \times 12=24

    \end{equation}

    • When a number is multiplied by 5 the product will have 0 or 5 at its last digit.

    Example: 5×8=40

    \begin{equation}

    5 \times 8=40

    \end{equation}

    5×5=25

    \begin{equation}

    5 \times 5=25

    \end{equation}

    Actually, repeated addition is called multiplication. Multiplication is the shortcut to knowing the sum of something huge like a group of people or the number of goats in a herd.

    Example: To know the amount necessary to buy 10kg of apples, there is no need to add the amount 10 times instead multiply the amount 10 times.

    If 1 kg of apple is Rs.80, then 10 kg of apple is

    80×10=80

    Solved Problems

    1. Ram has Rs.500 in his wallet. When he returns home, there is only an Rs.69 balance. How much has he spent?

    Ans: It is quite easy to find the answer. By subtracting the amount remaining from the total amount, we could find out the amount spent.

    500-69=431

    Hence, he has spent Rs.431.

    2. A milkman is carrying a can full of milk to supply, how much he has to fill in the can to supply 23 houses if each of them buys 3 litres?

    Ans: He should use the repeated addition method that is multiplication to know the required amount.

    23×3=69

    Thus, he has to fill 69 litres of milk in his can.

    3. Geetha wants to buy slippers, in a festival sale she bought them on offer which costs Rs.281. Its original price is Rs.350. How much discount did she get on her slippers?

    Ans: The discount amount is 350-281=69 Rs

    Time’s Table Of 69

    The time’s table basically represents that when a number is added to itself the number of times equal to the number we intend to multiply it to, the repeated addition yields the same result as multiplication. It is shown below in the table.

    69 × 1 = 69

    69

    69 × 2 = 138

    69+69=138

    69 × 3 = 207

    69+69+69=207

    69 × 4 = 276

    69+69+69+69=276

    69 × 5 = 345

    69+69+69+69+69=345

    69 × 6 = 414

    69+69+69+69+69+69=414

    69 × 7 = 483

    69+69+69+69+69+69+69=483

    69 × 8 = 552

    69+69+69+69+69+69+69+69=552

    69 × 9 = 621

    69+69+69+69+69+69+69+69+69=621

    69 × 10 = 690

    69+69+69+69+69+69+69+69+69+69=690
