    Introduction

Multiplication is one of the basic arithmetic operations. It is just a repeated addition of numbers. Students are taught this basic operation from the primary class itself through a chart or table called Multiplication Table. It is also known as Time Table. It is a table that shows the product of two numbers in proper order.

Multiplication tables help in doing mental arithmetic. Learning this table is very important as it saves time in doing difficult problems. Although multiplication is a form of repeated addition, it is required to memorise this table as it is not possible to get solutions to complex problems easily by doing addition operations.

A few easy methods by which students shall memorise the table is by practising skip counting, writing it daily, and understanding the pattern followed in each table. While multiplying the order of numbers is not important, even if we multiply the first number with the second number or the second number with the first number the answer should always be the same. Here, will discuss in detail Table 65.

    Detailed Explanation

Table 65 is a table which shows the multiplication of the natural number 65 with consecutive whole numbers. It is just a repeated addition of the number 65. For example,7 times 65 can be expressed as 65+65+65+65+65+65+65 ⇒ 455. In the same way, the table of 65 can be formed by the continuous addition of 65.

    Addition Table Of 65

    65

    65 + 65 = 130

    130 + 65 = 195

    195 + 65 = 260

    260 + 65 = 325

    325 + 65 = 390

    390 + 65 = 455

    455 + 65 = 520

    520 + 65 = 585

    585 + 65 = 650

    Solved Problems

Q1. What is the cost of 65 pencils, if each pencil costs $ 5?

Ans. Cost of one Pencil = $5

    Cost of 65 Pencils = 65 5

    Cost of 65 Pencils = $325

Q2. How many times should we multiply 65 to get 1235

Ans. From the table of 65, It is known that 65 19 = 1235.
