The 60 times table or the multiplication table o 60 must be studied by students in order to help them respond to mathematical issues quickly and clearly. Example 1: Solve 60 times 11 minus 40.
Solution:
Following the multiplication table of 60,
60 x 11 is equal to 660.
So
60 times 11 minus 40
=(60 x 11)-40
= 660 – 40
= 620.
Example 2: Find the 15th multiple of 60.
Solution:
900 is the 15th multiple of 60.
Example 3: Find out what is 60 x 8.
Solution:
First, find out what 6 x 8 is.
6 x 8 = 48
To get 60 x 8, add 0 to the end of 48.
The result is 480.
Therefore, 60 x 8 = 480
Example 4: A client regularly purchases four melons every day. In the next 60 days, how many melons will the consumer purchase?
Solution:
Each day, the consumer purchases 4 melons. As a result, using the table of 60, the buyer purchased a total of 4 x 60 = 240 melons over the course of 60 days.
Example 5: Michael's hourly wage is $20. How much money he will make while working 60 hours each week?
Solution:
Michael is paid $20 an hour. As a consequence, after working 60 hours, Michael earned a total of $1200 per week.
Example 6: Every day, Angela jogs 4 kilometres. Determine how many miles she jogs in 60 days using the table of 60.
Solution:
Every day, Angela jogs 4 miles. Thus, 4 x 60 = 240 miles were covered in total after 60 days.
A 6 times table with a 0 at the end makes up the 60 times table. If you are satisfied that you understand the six times table, you can add 0 at the end of each multiple of six to get the multiples of sixty.
Sixty is equivalent to sixty times one.
One hundred twenty is equivalent to sixty times two.
One hundred and eighty is equivalent to sixty times three.
Two hundred and forty is equivalent to sixty multiplied by four.
Three hundred is equal to sixty multiplied by five.
Three hundred sixty is equivalent to sixty times six.
Four hundred and twenty is equivalent to sixty times seven.

Solution:
12 or a dozen bananas cost Rs. 60.
48 bananas or 4 dozen equals?
Multiply 60 by 4 to get the answer.
Thus, 60 x 4 equals 240.
John earned Rs. 240 by selling 4 dozen bananas.
Q2. Determine 60 times 6 minus 60 times 5 using a 60 times table.
Solution:
Firstly, let's define 60 multiplied by 6 as.
The 60 times table yields 60 x 6 = 360.
Now, we'll calculate 60 multiplied by 5.
Our result from the 60-times table is 60 x 5 = 300.
To determine 60 minus 6 less 60 times 5, we shall subtract 60 times 5 from 60 times 6.
Therefore, we get 360 - 300 = 60.
Thus, 60 times 6 minus 60 times 5 = 60.
