A multiplication table is an essential tool for understanding multiplication in algebraic systems. Many of us can remember learning to multiply and divide as children. Sing and recite complete series in class, and repeat the multiplication tables at home with our parents; You might even have a poster of it on your bedroom wall. The leap from knowing how to add and subtract numbers to learning multiplication can seem big and complex. However, once mastered, it can become second nature to a child and indispensable in everyday life. Memorizing tables makes our calculations fast. Table 16 is a multiplication table that includes multiples of 16. Students in 9th grade should strive to memorize the multiplication table through 20. Memorizing the multiplication table will save them time when solving complex math problems. Students preparing for the exam should also try to memorize the multiplication table 16 to calculate faster in the exam.
The 16 times table is the multiplication table of 16, which represents the number 16 multiplied by other numbers. Students can look at the table below to learn how to create the 16-multiplier series.
16\times1=16 | |
16\times2=32 | 16+16=32 |
16\times3=48 | 16+16+16=48 |
16\times4=64 | 16+16+16+16=64 |
16\times5=80 | 16+16+16+16+16=80 |
16\times6=96 | 16+16+16+16+16+16=96 |
16\times7=112 | 16+16+16+16+16+16+16=112 |
16\times8=128 | 16+16+16+16+16+16+16+16=126 |
16\times9=144 | 16+16+16+16+16+16+16+16+16=144 |
16\times10=160 | 16+16+16+16+16+16+16+16+16+16=160 |
16×1=16 |
16×2=32 |
16×3=48 |
16×4=64 |
16×5=80 |
16×6=96 |
16×7=112 |
16×8=126 |
16×9=144 |
16×10=160 |
16×11=176 |
16×12=192 |
16×13=208 |
16×14=224 |
16×15=240 |
16×16=256 |
16×17=272 |
16×18=288 |
16×19=304 |
16×20=320 |
Example 1:Find the value of 16\times18+12.
Solution:
From the table, we have
\\ 16\times18=288 \\
16\times18+12=300
So the value of 16\times18+12 is 300.
Example 2: Find the value of 16\times15-40.
Solution:
From the table, we have
\\ 16\times15=240 \\
16\times15-40=200
So the value of 16\times15-40 is 200.
Example 3:Find the value of 16\times12+8.
Solution:
From the table, we have
\\ 16\times12=192 \\
16\times12+8=200
So the value of 16\times12+8 is 200.
Example 4:Find the value of 16\times19+46.
Solution:
From the table, we have
\\16\times19=304 \\
16\times19+46=350
So the value of 16\times19+46 is 350.
Example 5: Calculate 16\times15.
Solution:
From the table, we have
16\times15=240
So the value of 16\times15 is 240.
256 is the perfect square of 16.
Yes, because it is divisible by 2.
80 is the value of 5\times16.
Yes 16 is a composite number because it has factors other than 1 and 16.
