Solution:

We shall first calculate (12 times 8)-15 mathematically.

Solution:

12 chirps occur in an hour.

The number of chirps in 8 hours is, therefore, 12 times 8=12✕8= 96 from the table of 12.

It will chirp 96 times in 8 hours as a result.

Example 5: Determine (12 ✕ 9) - 32.

Solution:
