This community is growing and contributing to our country at the educational and economic levels living a very simple life. They wear the most ordinary clothes, sometimes made up of leaves and flowers, they survive on fruits, vegetables and, and prepare medicines from various forest products. The word 'Tribe', 'Scheduled Tribe,' or 'Adivasi' are not the same. The tribes of North-East India usually do not use the term 'Adivasi' to characterise themselves.
