Hello Shweta ,
There is no specified syllabus for NTSE exam but Stage1 will include the questions from the syllabus of your education board (for you i.e. WB board). Due to pandemic many boards have reduced the Class 10th syllabus this year. So, Stage 1 exam of NTSE will exclude questions from the topics that have been deleted.
NTSE Stage 1 include state/UT board syllabus of Science, Social science, Mathematics of class 9th & 10th and Stage 2 include NCERT syllabus of Science, Social science, Mathematics of class 9th & 10th.
As you asked to provide the syllabus, Here is the link for the major topics of Stage 1 exam which are mandatory:-

You must note that the NTSE Syllabus is not restricted to the topics mentioned above. In order to score well, students must be well-versed with all the topics and concepts.
Hope your doubt get cleared now :-)
Hi, the tentative dates for admit card is between 9th October to 15th October. The NTSE 2021 exam will be conducted on October 24, 2021. Since, your stage 1 exam is conducted by the state level board itself. Stage 1 exam will be taken before stage 2 NTSE 2021 exam. You do not have to worry about about your 2 exams clashing it never happens. Everything will be looked after by your state board itself and you will have enough time to revise whatever subjects are for your boards exam. Hope this helps. All the best!
