You need to sit with your child and identify the root cause of the problem. Why his performance started to decline? Is there something wrong with school? Or something in class that is disturbing? Also, you haven't specified anything about his performance in classes 9 and 10. Has the performance gradually been declining and you were ignoring the signs? Discuss with him why he's not studying and let him decide on which stream he wants to opt for? Even commerce and arts stream are not that easy. Let him take his own decision and you can guide him all along as it's only him who has to put in all the effort.

The syllabus of VITEEE 2019 comprises of the topics of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. Biology syllabus for VITEEE is also given for B.Tech Biotech candidates. The questions in the exam are based on the syllabus of 10+2 level as prescribed by the State Board of Higher Secondary Education and the CBSE. Yes you can be definitely eligible for it as you didn't crossed the age limit and chance of opting it also there will be four chances of writing it and there will be age limit of about 21 years so that  you can opte and write it so need of worry about it , so all the best for your future

Dear Smriti, your admit card will not be withheld because of an error in the application form. You will get the admit card and you can also appear for the exam. The only issue you might is face is during the counselingband admission phases. When you have to submit the original documents and they are verified, there might be an issue. But again if you are carrying your original documents as a proof and you can explain your error, you might have a chance.
