Hello there,

With a score of 151 in the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) and 79% in your 12th CBSE exams, you have a reasonable chance of securing admission to a government architecture college in Kerala or other states, especially considering your category under the Defence quota .

Admission Criteria and Quota:

  1. Defence Quota :

    • Many state universities and institutions have provisions for a Defence quota, which may provide some level of reservation or preference for children of ex-servicemen and serving defence personnel. You should check with specific colleges for their policies regarding the Defence quota in architecture.

  2. Government Colleges in Kerala :

    • In Kerala, colleges such as Government Engineering College, Kozhikode , and Government College of Architecture and Planning, Thiruvananthapuram typically accept NATA scores for admission.

    • Additionally, the LBS Centre for Science and Technology conducts counseling for admissions to B.Arch courses in various colleges in Kerala based on NATA scores.

  3. Other States :

    • Various states also recognize NATA scores for admissions to architecture programs. States like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Maharashtra have their own colleges where you can apply.

Steps to Take:

  1. Research Colleges : Look for government colleges in Kerala and other states that offer B.Arch programs and check their admission criteria.

  2. Application Process : Prepare to apply through the respective state counseling process or directly to the colleges. Make sure to highlight your Defence category status in your applications.

  3. Keep Updated : Stay informed about the admission schedules, as different colleges may have varying deadlines for applications and counseling.

    Conclusion:

Given your NATA score and 12th-grade percentage, along with the Defence quota, you should explore government colleges in Kerala and other states. Be proactive in checking the specific requirements and reservation policies of the colleges you are interested in to enhance your chances of admission.

my brother wants to give the nda exam but he got RT in physics class 12 cbse. so now can he give nda exam?

Manha AK 16th Dec, 2024

To qualify for NDA , you must either be appearing or have  passed 12th grade in any board . Since your brother hasn't passed, he has to write NDA only after clearing his physics paper . There is still hope , don't you worry about it at all. Just focus on the exam.

Pass under vocational scheme in class 12 CBSE means ?anyone know please reply

Tanya Gupta 22nd May, 2024

Hello,

In the context of the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) in India, passing under the vocational scheme in class 12 means that the student has completed and passed their Class 12 exams with a focus on vocational subjects rather than traditional academic subjects.

Vocational education is designed to prepare students for specific trades, crafts, and careers at various levels. The curriculum typically includes a mix of theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to a specific vocation.

Hope this helps,
