Central Board of Secondary Education Class 12th Examination
Get UpdatesCan a student writing a compartment exam (for 12th CBSE Physics) in 2024, be eligible for admission next year(if the student writes the NMIMS CET exam again in 2025)?
Hi,
Some institutions may offer provisional admission based on the student's performance in other subjects, allowing them to start their course with the condition that they must clear the compartment exam in the next attempt. Colleges typically have specific deadlines for document submission, including the final mark sheet. If you can clear the compartment exam and obtain the necessary documents before the deadline, you may be able to secure a spot. They can provide you with detailed information on whether they accept students who have compartment exams and what the process might be for securing admission. According to CBSE guidelines, students who clear their compartment exams are considered to have passed their 12th grade for that academic year. This means that, once you pass the exam, you should be treated like any other student who passed their exams in the first attempt. If admission in the current year isn’t possible, some students opt for diploma courses or certificate programs in related fields while preparing to reapply the following year.
Hope you find this useful!
I failed in 3 theory subjects out if 5 in cbse class 12th . how can I save my year and also get admission in collage on time ? please help me *crying *
Repeat 12th: Next year, you have the option to repeat the whole 12th grade curriculum. By doing this, you can concentrate on every subject and possibly raise your total performance.
Open Schooling: Consider studying with Open Schooling boards, such as NIOS, which provide more flexibility and an alternative format for the exams.
i have got RT in chemistry in boards class 12th in cbse 2024. and now i have to give compartment exam but i am now in kota, as per my knowledge cbse conduct compartment exam 3 times so can i skip 1st chance after applying form and give 2nd or 3rd compartment which will be held in nxt year july or february....plzz reply i am very tenSed and scared.
I understand you're feeling stressed and scared about your CBSE Class 12th Chemistry compartment exam
The CBSE usually conducts compartment exams only once a year in July. There isn't an official provision to skip the first attempt and appear for a later one.
You seem eligible for the compartment exam this year since you have an "RT" (Repeater with Theory) in Chemistry.
Since you have applied, it's best to focus your energy on preparing well for the compartment exam happening in July 2024. Utilize this time effectively for revision and practice.
- You will be out of this uncertainty sooner.
-
If you pass in July, you can potentially move on to higher education without delay.

Can i give nios on demand exam for math while studying 12 cbse pcb. Does it make me eligible for jee exams.
Hi there,
Hope you are doing fine.
Yes, you can certainly give the nios exam while studying pcb in the class 12th cbse.
The eligibility criteria for the student appearing in the jee examination is that you have to pursue mathematics in the class 12 and pass the respective examination with a minimum percentage.
However, you can still appear for the jee mains exam by passing the nios exam and qualifying it. You are eligible by passing it with a good score and then appear for the jee mains examination.
also, you can check the more details and the criteria to be eligible for the jee mains examination by visiting the official website of the examination and then reading the brochures related to it.
Hope this resolves your query.
Can I give improvement exam for 2-3 subjects in cbse?
Hello,
Yes, you can give improvement exams for 2-3 subjects in CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). CBSE allows students who have appeared for their Class 12 board exams to improve their scores by re-appearing for exams in up to five subjects the following year.
Hope this helps,
Thank you
I am transferring from cbse board to chse board (odisha board) I had 6 subjects in my 12th but I have failed in my 6th optional sub As I was filling the form(form used as an application form for all colleges in odisha) it was showing me that all 6 sub total will be calculated. will i consi pass or f
You most likely will still be considered for passing based on the information you provided.
The CHSE Odisha board requires a minimum of 33% marks in each subject (including theory and practical) and an overall aggregate of 33% to pass class 12 exams.Since your failure is in the optional subject, and assuming all other subjects meet the minimum marks (33%), you should be okay.
You need 33% marks in each subject (5 main subjects + 1 optional). If you have 33% or above in all your main subjects, even if you failed the optional subject, your overall aggregate should likely be above 33% (considering the marks of all 6 subjects).
However
,
to be absolutely certain, it's best to confirm this directly with the CHSE Odisha board or the college you are applying to.

btech college in 50% in cbse board
Hello,
Securing admission to a B.Tech college with 50% in the CBSE board can be challenging, as many top engineering colleges require higher percentages. However, some private universities and state-level colleges may accept candidates with 50% marks, provided they perform well in entrance exams like JEE Main, state CETs, or the university's own entrance test. It's essential to research individual colleges' eligibility criteria, as they vary. Remedial courses or management quota seats might also be options.
Hope this helps you,
Thank you
