Hii neeraj!

You can check CBSE class 12th registration number in:

Your class 12th board exam admit card. Please do check admit card for registration number, it must be there.
You can also check the registration number in your class 12th marksheet in case you have got it.
Alternatively you can also visit your school and ask for the same in the administration office they may tell you the registration number.

Hello Aspirant,

SASTRA University commonly provides concessions and scholarships based on merit in class 12 board exams and JEE Main purposes with regard to board merit you need above 95% in PCM (or on aggregate) to get bigger concessions, usually if you scored 90% and above you may get partial concessions. I suppose the exact cut offs may change yearly on application rates too.

I am a CBSE class 12 private candidate will my maksheet of CBSE supplement exam will be delivered on main exam form address for supplementary exam form address ,my both addresses are different please tell

Hello Vanshika,

CBSE generally forwards the marksheet for the supplementary exam to the correspondence address as identified in the supplementary exam application form. It is not sent to the address indicated in the main exam form. Addresses that differ will use the supplementary exam address.

To find Class 12 Arts board papers, go to the official website of your education board, then click on the Sample Papers, Previous Years Question Papers(PYQ) or Model Papers section, and select the Arts stream. You will find papers for the various academic year. You can then select the year of which you want to solve and do your practice. There are many other educational websites that post pyqs on their website you can also visit that.

Yes, the Gujarat board does allow students to register as private candidates for class 12th examinations that means that even if you are not enrolled in any school you can sit for the examination. For this you will have to fill out a special private candidate application form and submit it along with relevant documents like marksheet, ID card, photos, etc to the Gujarat state education board office. You can submit it either offline or online.

However, the 2026 application windows has not opened yet and when it will typically schools will handle the registration through their board login so as of now you will have to reach out any GSEB affiliated school or board office itself in order to seek guidance on how to apply as a private candidate for 2026.

I gave my 12th exam this year in which I got less marks. Then I gave improvement exam in which also I could not score full marks. So can I become a private candidate and appear for the exam again next year or not?

Yes, if you are unsatisfied with your marks even after appearing in the improvement, then you can appear for the finals again as a private candidate next year. You will have to register independently, prepare at your own pace and sit for the exam without attending regular classes.

i gave improvement 2025 as the roll no is different from my previous year marksheet so will i get new migration certificate

Yes, in the case that you appeared for the 2025 improvement exam and your roll number is different from what was on the previous year’s marksheet, the board will usually release a new migration certificate. This is because the migration certificate will reflect the most recent exam details, roll number and passing year. You can apply to get it from your board using the process prescribed by them either online or through your school/college.

Can i give 2nd compartment in cbse if I skipped or was absent in the first one?

Yes, if you miss the 1st CBSE exam due to valid reasons, then you can appear for the 2nd CBSE compartment exam.

From the academic year 2026, the board will conduct the CBSE 10th exam twice a year, while the CBSE 12th exam will be held once, as per usual. For class 10th, the second phase exam will act as the supplementary exam.
