Is cbse compartment exam hard or is it easier

kumardurgesh1802 3rd Sep, 2024

Hello student,

The difficulty of CBSE compartment exams can vary depending on your preparation and understanding of the subjects. Here’s a general overview:

  • Easier or Harder? : The compartment exam is designed to test the same syllabus as the regular board exams, so the level of difficulty is similar. However, the perception of difficulty can depend on how well you prepare and the specific subjects you are reappearing for.

  • Preparation : With focused and effective preparation, you can improve your chances of passing. Reviewing past papers, understanding key concepts, and practicing regularly can help.

  • Mindset : Approach the compartment exam with a positive attitude and proper study plan to increase your chances of success.

Overall, the compartment exam is not inherently harder or easier but requires adequate preparation to succeed.

Hello,

Yes, you can still get into an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) if you improve your scores through the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) improvement exams. Here’s how it works:

Eligibility for IIT JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced:

You need to secure at least 75% aggregate marks in your Class 12th board exams (or be in the top 20 percentile of your board).

You need to qualify for the JEE Main exam and be among the top candidates to be eligible for JEE Advanced.

can I change my board cbse to rbse in class 12

Manasvini Gupta 23rd Jul, 2024

Changing from the CBSE board to the RBSE in Class 12 is generally difficult and often not ideal due to differences in syllabi and examination structures. Most boards, including RBSE , do not recommend switching in the final year of schooling. It is crucial to consult both CBSE and RBSE authorities for specific policies, but making such a change earlier is advisable to prevent academic complications.

i have 151 score in NATA and 79 % in 12th cbse. also i cume under defence category. is there any Exservice quota for Architecture and can i get admission to a govt college in Kerala or other state

kumardurgesh1802 30th Oct, 2024

Hello there,

With a score of 151 in the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) and 79% in your 12th CBSE exams, you have a reasonable chance of securing admission to a government architecture college in Kerala or other states, especially considering your category under the Defence quota .

Admission Criteria and Quota:

  1. Defence Quota :

    • Many state universities and institutions have provisions for a Defence quota, which may provide some level of reservation or preference for children of ex-servicemen and serving defence personnel. You should check with specific colleges for their policies regarding the Defence quota in architecture.

  2. Government Colleges in Kerala :

    • In Kerala, colleges such as Government Engineering College, Kozhikode , and Government College of Architecture and Planning, Thiruvananthapuram typically accept NATA scores for admission.

    • Additionally, the LBS Centre for Science and Technology conducts counseling for admissions to B.Arch courses in various colleges in Kerala based on NATA scores.

  3. Other States :

    • Various states also recognize NATA scores for admissions to architecture programs. States like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Maharashtra have their own colleges where you can apply.

Steps to Take:

  1. Research Colleges : Look for government colleges in Kerala and other states that offer B.Arch programs and check their admission criteria.

  2. Application Process : Prepare to apply through the respective state counseling process or directly to the colleges. Make sure to highlight your Defence category status in your applications.

  3. Keep Updated : Stay informed about the admission schedules, as different colleges may have varying deadlines for applications and counseling.

    Conclusion:

Given your NATA score and 12th-grade percentage, along with the Defence quota, you should explore government colleges in Kerala and other states. Be proactive in checking the specific requirements and reservation policies of the colleges you are interested in to enhance your chances of admission.
