Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has issued KVPY 2016 admit card on October 17. Candidates can download the admit card of KVPY 2016 for appearing in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) scholarship/ fellowship exam scheduled to be held on November 6, 2016. The candidates can download their KVPY admit card 2016 by accessing their respective registered KVPY accounts. The KVPY admit cards can be downloaded till the examination date, after which it will be unavailable.

Importance of KVPY 2016 admit card
KVPY 2016 admit card is hall ticket for appearing in the scholarship /fellowship examination.
The admit card of KVPY 2016 mentions examination and candidature details which are important for appearing in the exam.
Candidates need to download KVPY admit card and keep a safe copy of it for future correspondences.
No admit card of KVPY 2016 will be re-issued after the last date of downloading the same.
Candidates are advised to ensure the printed details in KVPY 2016 admit card, specifically their name, category, gender, photograph and signature.
In case of any misprint or discrepancy in the printed details of KVPY 2016 admit card, they need to get it rectified by bringing it to the notice of IISc officials immediately.
No candidate will be allowed to appear in KVPY 2016 exam without a valid admit card and an identity proof as mentioned in the hall ticket instructions.

KVPY 2016 Exam Pattern
The scholarship/ fellowship aptitude test of KVPY 2016 will be held completely online in English and Hindi languages.
Candidates will be provided virtual calculators on the examination day therefore they are advised not to bring any electronic calculators on their own.
The aptitude test will be held for three streams– SA, SB and SX.
The test for SA stream will have as many as 60 questions in Part 1 and 20 in Part 2, compositing the entire paper to 100 marks.
While those appearing for SB or SX stream will have to attempt a maximum of 80 questions in Part 1 and 40 in Part 2, while the entire question paper will be 160 marks.
