NCERT

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) was established in 1961. NCERT was registered as a society on June 6, 1961, and the establishment of the council was announced by the government of India on July 27 1961. The NCERT started working formally on September 1 1961. The National Council of Educational Research and Training was established with the agenda of designing and supporting a common system of education for the nation which enables and encourages the expression of the diverse culture of India. NCERT had done thorough research to develop its curriculum and materials. The NCERT has designed the book for class 1 to 12 in a simple language that students can understand it. The syllabus designed by the NCERT is considered not only for school education but also for various national level and state-level competitive examinations. The examinations like UPSC, NEET, JEE etc follows NCERT.

NCERT Books

NCERT books are well designed in a manner to excel in the concept presented. The NCERT books are followed by the CBSE board. So for students who are preparing for CBSE board exams and other competitive exams like the NEET and JEE, NCERT is the bible. NCERT also provides study kits and multimedia digital material to help the students. NCERT Solutions

Answers to the NCERT questions are important to enhance the concepts studied. As far as the board exam is concerned the solutions to NCERT questions are an unavoidable material. The solutions to both solved problems and exercise questions are important for the CBSE board examination. For some subjects, there are multiple numbers of exercises, additional exercises and miscellaneous exercises. Mainly NCERT books for mathematics is designed with more number of solved questions and practice exercises since mathematics require more practice.

NCERT Exemplar

For Science and Mathematics subjects exposure to more questions and practice questions are required for the students to understand it in a better way. For this NCERT is providing the exemplar questions from class 6 to 10 Science and Math. And for class 11 and 12 Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry. This set of practice questions includes multiple-choice questions, reasoning type questions, short answer and long answer questions. The exemplar questions are designed to practise questions related to all the concepts studied in the chapters of above-mentioned subjects. Solving it will improve the reasoning, comprehension, calculation and analytical skills of the students.

NCERT also provides multimedia packages developed by DCETA, DEAA and DESM. This package allows the students to understand the concept and visualise it in a better way. Over the years NCERT has brought a huge amount of development in the field of primary and secondary education of India and contributed to the development the nation by nourishing the skills and personality development of the students with the involvement of many teachers and other educational professionals.
