About UIEO 2023
Unified Council organizes Unified International English Olympiad (UIEO) annually to assess the abilities of candidates in the English language.
- Students in class 2 to 10, enrolled in a school affiliated to a board recognised by the Unified Council are eligible to appear in this UIEO 2023 exam.
- To register for UIEO, students are supposed to fill the application form through their schools. The last date to fill the UIEO application form 2023 is intimated through schools.
- UIEO 2023 exam will be held on November 3, 2023 and November 17, 2023 in offline mode and January 21, 2024 in online mode for Direct students.
- UIEO result 2023 will be released on January 2024, tentatively.
- Students need to enter their registered mobile number, hall ticket number and email ID to check the UIEO result 2023.
- UIEO 2023 exam syllabus is class-specific and is divided into three parts:
- Vocabulary and functional grammar
- Reading comprehension
- Interactive English
- The questions will be multiple-choice, objective-based which are supposed to be solved in a duration of 60 minutes.

UIEO 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for UIEO 2023 are the minimum requirements, a student must meet in order to be eligible for appearing in the exam. The eligibility criteria for Unified International English Olympiad are given below:
1) The candidate must be enrolled in a school affiliated with a board that is recognized by the Unified Council.
2) The student must be studying in class 2 to 10. Students below class 2 and above class 10 are not eligible for UIEO 2023.
3) The student must have submitted an application and fees for the UIEO 2023.

- To apply for the Unified International English Olympiad, the student has to ask school authorities for the application form.
- The student cannot apply for UIEO 2023 individually.
- Application forms will be given out by school authorities and they have to submit the form with complete information and the fees to the Principal, Vice Principal or Teacher In-charge.
- The application fee for the exam is Rs. 150.
- The last date to apply for the UIEO exam is intimated through school.

UIEO 2023 Preparation Tips
To give you an edge over the competition, exam experts have shared these tips. To excel in the UIEO 2023, the students are advised to keep these few things in mind:
a) Make a study plan: Making a study plan is advised for every exam as it gives a right direction and discipline to the hard work and determination you want to put in your preparation. You can allot a certain amount of time for every section of the exam and get yourself to work on them individually and equally.
b) Know the syllabus: Unified Council says that syllabus is class-specific, that means you only have to stick to class textbooks and pay attention to grammar. For reading comprehension, read books and English newspapers. These would help you to increase your reading and comprehension speed and skills.
c) Try to understand the standard of questions: It is very important to know what kind of questions you will be tackling in the exam. To figure out what you are actually up against, download some sample papers and go through them.
d) Practice sample papers: Questions in UIEO 2023 are technical and different. These questions are meant to test your mental abilities, not scholastic abilities. To prepare for the competition, you need to practice from sample question papers.
e) Time management: UIEO 2023 gives you a limited amount of time to answer an assortment of questions. You need to be prepared to answer these questions in that limited time so that none of the questions are left.
UIEO 2023 Exam Pattern
The syllabus for UIEO 2023 is completely based on the CBSE/ICSE and various state boards. UIEO 2023 is divided into three parts viz., vocabulary and functional grammar, reading comprehension and interactive English. The paper is different for Class 2-4 and 5-10.

UIEO question papers are more class-specific than syllabus-specific. Please refer the syllabus provided. Unified International English Olympiad question papers are suitable for students following CBSE/ICSE/ISC and various other State Board syllabus.
