About TN HSC Board 2023
Directorate of Government Examination(DGE), Tamil Nadu is the body that conducts TN 12th board exams 2023. The Tamil Nadu HSC exam is held in a pen and paper-based mode with a single set of question papers. TN Class 12 exams started on March 13 and were completed on April 3, 2023.

- Tamil Nadu 12th result 2023 was announced on May 8, 2023.
- The TN 12th supply exam dates 2023 were announced in June 2023. The Tamil Nadu class 12 supplementary exams were held from June 19 to June 26, 2023

TN HSC Board 2023 Eligibility Criteria
DGE, Tamil Nadu sets the eligibility criteria for appearing in TN HSC Board exams. Students have to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria before writing the exam.
- One must have passed class 11 from a recognized school of Tamil Nadu board and must be pursuing class 12.
- Must attain the age of 16 years as on July 31, 2023, to be eligible for TN HSC exams 2023.
- Students need to maintain a minimum attendance and should clear all dues applying for TN HSC exams 2023.

Students can apply for TN class 12 exams 2023 in both online and offline mode.
- Regular students can fill the application form through their respective schools in the offline mode.
- While private students appearing for the TN HSC board exams 2023 must fill in the online application form at the nearest Government examination centre.
- They can also collect the form at the nodal centre from the board authorities and fill it offline.
- The application fee is to be submitted in cash mode for both regular and private students. Payment through any other mode is not be accepted.

TN HSC Board 2023 Exam Pattern
DGE, Tamil Nadu prescribes a syllabus, books and exam pattern for the conduction of TN HSC Board exams 2023. Students must refer to the syllabus and exam pattern while preparing for TN Class 12th Board exams. The duration of each paper will be 3 hours. The exam will be conducted in three parts :
- Part 1 is a language paper in which students can opt the language of their choice.
- Language options provided by the board are Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Urdu, Sanskrit, Arabic, French, German.
- Part 2 is the English Language paper.
- Part 3 has a choice of 4 subjects from a list as specified by the Board.
Students who are preparing for the TN HSC exams 2023 must put in proper hard work and dedication to score well in the exams.
- Students must go through the entire syllabus thoroughly. Students must solve as many sample question papers as possible.
- Sample paper and questions papers must be practised after covering all the important topics or entire syllabus.
