National Rural Talent Scholarship Examination (NRTS)

NRTS 2023 Exam: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha is responsible for conducting National Rural Talent Scholarship (NRTS) Examination. The board will conduct the National Rural Talent Scholarship Examination in September 2023, tentatively. Schools can register their eligible candidates for NRTS exam 2023.

• The BSE Odisha will release the online application in July 2023.

• Students can fill the application form by paying an examination fee of Rs 60.

• The NRTS exam admit card 2023 will be released in August 2023.

• The board will conduct the BSE Odisha NRTS exam 2023 in September 2023.

• The NRTS exam result 2023 will be released in October 2023.

• After the result, the district education officer will issue the award memo in favour of selected students.

• The selected students will get Rs. 250 per month for 24 months, till they study in secondary level.

Students studying in class 9 are eligible for the NRTS exam 2023. They must have scored at least 60% marks in class 8. However, students of SC/ST category need to have at least 50% marks in class 8 exams.

Students who are eligible for the national rural talent scholarship exam 2023 can apply online through the board's official website, bseodisha.ac.in. The application process will start in July 2023, tentatively.

Students can apply for NRTS exam 2023 offline through their respective schools. Also, the NRTS application form 2023 will be submitted only through the school headmaster. Students are required to submit required documents along with a form fee of Rs 60.

The NRTS application form 2023 will have five sections:

• School Profile.

• Registration of Candidates

• Registered Candidates List

• Payment

• DR Sheet

• Students must complete the syllabus at least 1 month before the commencement of the examination. 

• Students must try to solve previous year papers as much as possible to manage the time. The NRTS examination contains two papers each of duration 1 hour 30 minutes.

• The paper will be mostly based on class 8 syllabus, try to cover as much as possible.

• The BSE Odisha will declare the NRTS exam result 2023 tentatively in October and handover the merit list to the concerned District Education Officers.

• The District Education Officer will prepare the list of selected students, after verification of correctness of the data in the merit list.

• After that, the officer will issue the award memo in favour of selected students.

Disbursement Of Award Money

The scholarship money will be deposited into the bank accounts of the students. After the publication of the result and the issue of the memo, the awardees will be informed about the opening of joint bank accounts. They will also be asked to provide the necessary details to the education officer to transfer the funds to their bank accounts.
