JNVST 2025: Class 6 Application Form(Started), Eligibility, Syllabus, Result

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will close the NVS class 6 registrations 2025 on September 16, 2024. Candidates must apply for the NVS class 6 admissions 2025 before the deadline. The board of NVS conducts Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) for class 6 and 9 admissions, every year. The JNVST Class 6 registrations have started. For Class 9, the last date of JNVST application form will be in November 2024.

About JNVST 2025 Class 6 Exam:

• The last date to fill out the NVS Class 6 online application form is September 16, 2024.
• The NVS 6th admit card for phase 1 and 2 will be released in December 2024 and March 2025 respectively.
• The phase- I JNVST exam will held on January 18, 2025, and phase 2 will be held on April 12, 2025.
• The JNVST Class 6 result will be released in May 2025.
• Students studying in the 5th class can apply for Navodaya class 6 admission 2025-26 if they fulfil other eligibility norms. 
• The correction window for making modifications in online application forms by registered candidates for class 6 JNVST 2025 was made available in September 2024.
• JNVST 2025 exam will be conducted for all 653 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.
• Navodaya result 2025 for Class 6 will be released on the official website navodaya.gov.in. 
• JNV Selection Test for class 6 admission will be held in pen and paper mode.
• Students in class 6th are tested in the Mental ability test, Arithmetic, and Language tests.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be granted admission to the Navodaya Vidyalaya.

About JNVST Class 9 Exam 2025

• Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti will release the JNV admit card 2025 for Class 9 in January 2025.
• 9th class JNVST exam 2025 will be conducted in February 2025, in offline mode.
• The JNVST application's last date to fill the JNVST form Class 9 will be in November 2024.
• The correction window for making modifications in online application forms by registered candidates for class 9 JNVST 2025 will be made available in November 2024.
• JNVST Class 9 result 2025 will be announced in March 2025.

JNVST Class 6 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for JNVST Class 6th Admission 2024, students have to fulfil the eligibility criteria-

• Only students belonging to the district where the particular Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located are eligible to apply for admission.
• Candidates seeking admission must not have been born before May 1, 2013, and after July 31, 2015 (Both dates are inclusive).

• Students applying for admission to class VI via JNVST 2024 must be currently enrolled in Class V in a government, government-aided/ any other recognized school or pursuing a ‘B’ certificate competency course of the National Institute of Open Schooling in the same district.

• Students claiming admission under the rural quota must have studied from classes 3 to 5 in a government/government-aided/ recognized school located in a rural area.
• The candidate who has not been promoted and admitted to class V before July 31, 2024, is not eligible to apply

• A candidate is eligible to appear for JNVST only once.

JNVST Class 9 Eligibility Criteria

Students should satisfy the JNVST Class 9 eligibility criteria before filling out the application form:

• Candidates studying in class 8 during the current academic session in government/government-recognized school are eligible to apply for JNV class 9 admission.
• Applicant must be studying in a school of the same district where the particular Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning and where admission is sought.
• Students appearing for JNVST must pass the final exam of class 8 at the time of admission.
• Students seeking admission to JNV class 9 must be between 11 to 15 years of age. There is no age relaxation for the reserved category, students must be born between May 1, 2010 and April 30, 2012 (both days inclusive)

JNVST Class 6 Application Details

NVS will close the Class 6 Navodaya admission form 2025 on September 16, 2024. Candidates can fill in the JNVST Class 6 application form 2025 in online mode before the deadline. There is no application fee for the same. Students can apply for JNVST 2024-25 exam by visiting the official website at navodaya.gov.in and cbseitms.in.

JNVST Class 9 Application Details

Students can submit the JNVST Class 9 application form in online mode. The form needs to be submitted after reviewing all the details furnished along with the required documents. Alongside, upload the recent passport-sized photograph while filling JNVST 2025 application form class IX. Students can follow the steps given below to fill JNV class 9th admission form 2024-25:

Step 1: Visit the official website at nvsadmissionclassnine.in. Click on the link to fill out the JNVST Class 9 application form 2025.

Step 2: Enter all the personal details in the NVS class 6 application form 2025 and upload your passport-size photo in the provided space. 

Step 3: Enter academic details in the JNVST admission form 2025.

1. Since most of the questions asked in JNVST Class 6th 2025 will be from the Mental Ability Test (MAT), candidates are advised to prepare well for the MAT section. JNVST Class 9 Preparation Tips

JNVST 2025 exam for Class 9 comprises questions from Mathematics, General Science, English and Hindi. Candidates can follow the below preparation tips to get good scores in the JNVST 2025 entrance test admission:

• Tip 1-  Make short notes of important concepts and formulas- Creating handwritten notes will help candidates understand the concept better. It also helps in remembering the formulas. 
• Tip 2- Follow the Right and Relevant Books- Students should cover the entire JNVST 2025 syllabus from NCERT Class 8 books. They can take the help of reference books and model papers to prepare efficiently 
• Tip 3- Revision is the key to success. Hence, students must revise all that they have learned for the JNVST exam 2025.

JNVST Class 6 Exam Pattern

The JNVST Exam Pattern 2025 for Class 6 consists of information about the question paper such as sections covered, distribution of marks, total marks, weightage per section and so on.

• As per the JNVST 2024-25 exam pattern, there will be four sections for the class 6 exam.
• There will be no negative marking.
• The exam will be held in pen and paper mode.
• The JNVST 2025 test duration is 2 hours or 160 minutes.
• All the questions in the JNVST 2024-25 exam will be multiple-choice questions.

NVS will release the JNVST admit card 2025 for class 6 in March. Students will be able to download the JNVST hall ticket from the official website of NVS. JNVST 2024-25 admit card comprises details such as information about the candidate, the schedule of the exam and the venue of the test.

How to download the JNVST Class 6 Admit Card 2025?

• Visit the official website at navodaya.gov.in.
• Click on the "Class 6" NVS admit card link 2025.
• Enter the registration number and password.
• Click on the "Submit" button and Navodaya class 6 admit card 2025 will appear on the screen.
• Take a printout of the same to use later.

Students are advised to read all the instructions given on the JNVST 2025 admit card to avoid hassles on the day of the JNVST 2024-25 exam. No student will be allowed to appear for the exam upon failing to produce the admit card in front of the invigilator.

JNVST Class 9 Admit Card

• JNVST 2025 admit card for Class 9 admission will be released in December 2024
• Candidates who have submitted the application form successfully can download the JNVST admit card 2025 for class 9, in online mode.
• Students can download the admit card using the login credentials.
• JNVST 2025 hall ticket will comprise details like the test taker’s name, roll number, exam date and time, details about the exam venue.
• The JNVST examination 2025 authority does not allow candidates who fail to produce a JNVST 2025 admit card to appear for the exam. It is, therefore, important for candidates to carry the admit card along with them on exam day.
• Along with the JNVST Class 9 admit card 2025, students are also required to carry a valid proof of identity to the examination hall.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti will declare Class 9 result in May 2025 and along with JNV Class 6 result 2025. The result will be published in the form of a selection list of candidates in PDF format. JNVST result 2025 consists of a candidate’s name, roll number, category, gender, district and area, date of birth etc.  

Students have to go through the selection list to check their names on the list. Candidates have to download the pdf file and keep it safe till the admission process concludes. 

Steps to check JNVST result 2025

• Go to the official website: navodaya.gov.in.
• Open the class 6 or 9 result 2024 link.
• Enter roll number in the blank field.
• Click on the submit button and NVS result 2025 will be shown on the screen. 

Selected candidates have to submit the given documents to complete the admission process after the result announcement.

JNVST 2025 Admission Process 

• After the declaration of JNVST results 2025, the parents of selected students have to download the forms which will be submitted for verification of documents. 
• The form will be available online on the schools’ official websites. 
• Fill in the required details, paste recent passport-sized photographs and attach xerox copies of required documents with the form. 
• Special/reserved category candidates have to attach proof of reservation/ disability along with the form and submit it to the school’s principal before the deadline.
• After this, a student is granted admission to their respective Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.
