About IMO 2024
IMO Exam 2024 - Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) conducts the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) for the students of classes 1 to 12. Students' knowledge of logical reasoning, mathematical reasoning, and everyday mathematics is tested through the SOF International Mathematics IMO Level 1 exam.
- SOF IMO 2024 Level 1 exam will be conducted on October 22, November 19, and December 12, 2024.
- SOF IMO 2024 Level 2 exam will be held in January 2025.
- The application forms for the IMO exam 2024 are issued and submitted at the school level by paying the application fee of Rs.125. No fee is payable for students suffering from any major physical disability, or an Indian student whose parent was martyred during defense operations.
- SOF will declare the IMO level 1 result in January 2025, and the level 2 result in March 2025.
- Students are advised to solve the IMO sample papers 2024 to know the exam pattern and important topics asked in the exams.
- Students should prepare the IMO syllabus 2024 for level 1 to qualify for the exam with good marks.

IMO 2024 Eligibility Criteria
There are no specific eligibility criteria for the IMO exam 2024
- Students studying in Class 1 to 12 are eligible to apply for the SOF IMO 2024 exam.
- Level 1 Exam will be held for Class 1 to 12 students.
- Level 2 exams will be held for students from classes 3 rd to 12 th for SOF IMO.
IMO 2024 Application Process

There will be only one mode to apply for the IMO exam 2024 i.e. Offline. Interested students should contact their respective schools. The registration forms will be sent to the school authorities.
- Students must pay an application fee of Rs. 125 per student along with the application form.
- In the case of international students, US$9 is applicable per student. It must be remembered that no student can apply for the IMO 2024 registration independently.
- SOF will not accept any application form directly from students. Students should contact their respective schools for their registration.

- The test duration for level 1 is 60 minutes.
- There will be a total of 35 objective-type questions (MCQs) for class 1 to class 4 and 50 objective-type questions (MCQs) for class 5 to class 12.
- The medium of the SOF IMO exam 2024 is English.
- There are separate SOF IMO 2024 question papers for each class.

- Achievers Section
Science Olympiad Foundation releases IMO sample papers for students to make them aware of important aspects like marking scheme, type of questions asked, important topics, etc. Solving IMO 2024 sample papers also helps in learning time management skills. The International Maths Olympiad sample papers are created based on the recent exam pattern of the question papers. Students can check their preparation level by solving the IMO 2024 sample papers.
IMO 2024 Admit Card
Once it is released, students can collect SOF IMO admit cards for level I exams from their respective school authorities. The admit card for the level II exams will be released one week before the exam. Therefore, students can download the same by visiting the official website of SOF.
Documents Required at Exam
- Admit Card
Science Olympiad Foundation will release the IMO 2024 answer key for sets A, B, and C in February 2024, tentatively. These IMO answer key 2024 contain the correct answers to each question asked in the IMO exam 2024-25. Students can calculate their estimated scores with the help of the IMO answer key.
- Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) will release the IMO 2024 level 1 result in January 2025.
- SOF will send the IMO 2024 result and Student Performance Report (SPR) to school authorities.
SOF will release the IMO cutoff 2024 on the official website for level 1 exam. The cutoff marks are tabulated below:

how to register IMO online exam?\
Dear Aspirant,
Science olympiad foundation conducts the IMO (International Mathematics Olympiad ) for classes 1 to 12. IMO exam is conducted in 2 levels. Level 1 is for classes 1 to 12 and Level 2 is for classes 3 to 12 who qualify in level 1.
SOF also accepts individual registration. Each student has to pay INR 50 for those who pay individually.
- They conducted the exam in an online mode for 1 hr.
- IMO level 1 (set A) will conduct on 4th and 5th of December,2021.
- IMO level 1 (set B) will conduct on the 24th and 26th of December, 2021
- IMO level 1 (set C) will conduct on the 8th and 9th of January, 2022.
- IMO level 2 will conduct in January 2022
