About iiO 2019

International Informatics Olympiad (iiO) is organised by Silverzone Foundation annually to assess the capabilities of school students in the field of Computer Science. All students from Class 1 to Class 12 from the school boards registered with Silverzone Foundation are eligible to appear in iiO 2019. The exam is organized on three levels, level 1, level 2 and level 3. Level 1 of the International Informatics Olympiad will be conducted on November 5 and December 4, 2019. The last date to apply for the exam is August 31, 2019. The result for level 1 of Silverzone iiO 2019 will be declared in the third week of January 2020. Level 2 exam will be held for the selected candidates. The Final result of iiO 2019 will be declared in the month of August/September 2020.

iiO 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for Silverzone iiO are the basic requirements needed to be met by candidates preparing for the exam. The eligibility criteria for iiO 2019 are as follows :

  • The candidate must be enrolled in a school affiliated to recognised boards.
  • The school must be registered with the Silverzone foundation.
  • To appear in further levels, candidates need to qualify the previous levels.

iiO 2019 Application Process

Candidate should be enrolled in a school to fill iiO 2019 Application forms. Individual candidates cannot apply for International Informatics Olympiad. The students are to fill the application form given by the school and submit the form to the Vice Principal/Principal of the School along with a fee of Rs. 120. The last date to apply for the exam is August 31, 2019.

iiO 2019 Preparation Tips


To gain an advantage over the other candidates, exam experts give the following tips and tricks. These tips and tricks will help you succeed in iiO 2019 by giving you insights on how to study smartly and manage your time according to the study plan.

  • Know the syllabus: Knowing the syllabus is very important to prepare for iiO 2019 as this will help you understand which topics are important and on which topics you should pay less attention.

iiO 2019 Exam Pattern

The questions in the Silverzone International Informatics Olympiad are objective based, multiple choice questions. The students in the third grade or above will be given an OMR sheet on which they need to choose the correct option out of the four given options. The exam pattern for iiO 2019 is :

Mock tests and sample paper are highly important to succeed in iiO 2019 with flying colours. Solving mock tests and sample papers gives aspirants an idea about the exam pattern and the standard of questions which they might expect in iiO 2019. This allows the candidate to prepare for the exam. Candidates can find the sample papers and mock tests class-wise on the official website of the Silverzone Foundation.

iiO 2019 Admit Card

Admit Card is important to carry on the exam day. Students will not be allowed to sit in the exam if they are not carrying the admit card on the date of the exam. Even after giving the exam, the admit card is a must to get your report card as the enrollment no. is written on the admit card. Students will gain the admit card from their school authorities after their registration with the Silverzone Foundation.

Result for the Silverzone International Informatics Olympiad 2019 level 1 will be declared in the third week of January 2020. Candidates can check their iiO result of level 1 by visiting the official website and entering their credentials. Level 2 result will be announced in the March 3rd week, 2020. The result of Level 3 will be out in the month of August/September 2020. All students will get a Descriptive Assessment Report along with their results and participation certificates which would be helpful in mapping their performance in the Olympiad.
