NTSE Tripura 2020- SCERT, Tripura has released the Tripura NTSE Stage 1 application form. Students can download the NTSE Tripura forms and submit the filled forms to the concerned school authority. Tripura NTSE Stage 1 exam will be held on November 3, 2019. Aspirants can apply for NTSE exam in offline mode only. NTSE Tripura exam 2020 includes Mental Ability Test and the Scholastic Aptitude Test. SCERT will recommend a list of students for the final stage of NTSE as per the State quota on the basis of their performance in Tripura NTSE stage 1.
NTSE exam will be conducted in two stages. Stage 1 exam is conducted at the state level by SCERT and stage 2 is conducted at National Level by NCERT. Students who are pursuing class 10 students from government, local body, private aided, and private unaided schools in Tripura are eligible for NTSE Tripura 2020 exam. Mentioned below is the NTSE Eligibility criteria to apply for the exam.
One must score a minimum of 55% marks in class 9 to be eligible for the NTSE exam.
Students must have Indian Nationality and domicile of Tripura.
One pursuing class 10 in Tripura Schools in the current academic year of 2019-20.
Students who appeared in Class 10 examinations in the year 2019 cannot apply.
ODL or Open Distance Learning class 10 students are eligible under the condition that their age is not above 18 years.
NMMS Scholarship holders can also appear for NTSE Tripura.
SCERT Tripura has released the NTSE Tripura Application form on the official website on August 5. Also students can submit it offline through their respective schools. The NTSE Application Form can be filled and submitted till August 31, 2019. The forms must be submitted after filling it completely and getting it attested from school. NTSE Tripura application forms must be submitted to their respective schools. School Authority will further send the same to Director, SCERT, P.O Abhoynagar, Agartala Pin- 799005.
Students can obtain the NTSE Tripura Application form from the respective school or download it from the official website by following the steps given below:

Download the application form, fill the required information such as Name, School Details, Address, Contact information and more.
Attach the necessary documents including the photograph, Income certificate, caste certificate and get the form attested by the head of the institution/ school.
Submit the form to the head of the institution or state liaison officer (address mentioned above).

Photographs - Two latest passport sized photographs need to be attached. The Photographs must be verified by the school Principal/ Gazetted officer.
For SC, ST category - The applicants need to attach the attested copy of their caste/ category certificates.
For OBC Category - One must check the category to which they belong in the central OBC list by National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC).
For Physically Disabled - Candidates applying under physical disability (BLV, DH, LD, AID, MD) must attach a copy of their disability certificates issued by recognized medical institutes.
Students can collect their admit card in the last week of October 2019. NTSE Admit card contains the candidates details and exam details including the exam date, time and venue. NTSE Tripura Admit card must be collected from the state liaison’s officer 21 days before the exam Students must bring their NTSE Admit card for exam otherwise they won’t be allowed to enter the exam hall.
Students must be well aware of the NTSE 2020 Exam pattern before preparing for the exam. The exam for Tripura NTSE 2020 will have Mental Ability Test, and Scholastic Ability Test only. NCERT or SCERT doesn’t prescribe the NTSE syllabus, so students are suggested to refer to class 9th and CBSE Class 10 Syllabus. For the preparation NTSE stage 1 exam SAT exam candidates must follow the syllabus of class 9 and 10 as recommended by the state board. For MAT or Mental Ability Test one must practice logical reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving questions. NTSE Syllabus for stage 2 will be similar to NCERT. So one must refer to NCERT syllabus for preparation of stage 2
SCERT, Tripura releases the official NTSE Tripura answer key 2020 in the second week of November 2019. The answer key consist of the correct answers for questions asked in MAT, and SAT. Also, the answer key of NTSE Tripura 2020 is released by coaching institutes such as Resonance, FIIT-JEE, Akash and more within a week of the exam date.
The result of NTSE Tripura 2020 will be announced in online mode by SCERT, Tripura. The stage 1 result will be available in the form of a PDF file. The list consists of the name, scores and school details of selected students. Only the aspirants who qualify stage 1 exam can appear for stage 2 exam scheduled to be conducted on May 10, 2020. NCERT will declare the NTSE 2020 Result for Stage 2 on its official website.
The cut off marks of NTSE Tripura will be released by SCERT, Tripura by the last week of February 2020. NTSE Tripura cut off 2020 consists of minimum qualifying marks for all the categories. Students who secure marks equal to or more than the cut off marks as per their category will be qualified for the final stage of NTSE 2020.
